You are not anymore!

Disney Adventures has released new pins!

I haven't ever seen Adventures by Disney release pictures of pins for their trips. Granted, I only look every few months. I wonder if the Norway trip isn't booking as quickly as Disney wanted.

So glad I don't collect Frozen (or Tangled)...

Now there's just something odd about that pin... I think its the expression. :p

Li it was on the official disney Instagram this morning xxxxx

Thanks Hollie, I saw! :) I think I saw on Pinformation though? I forgot, lol.

Anyhow, I meant that I have never seen ABD advertise any of the pins they have available on their other trips (China, England, South America, etc.) so I was surprised to see them advertise any of the pins from the Norway trip. It makes me wonder if they are having a hard time filling spots on the trip?

Poor Kristoff, not getting any love :(

I like him in this pin. I think it sort of looks like a tiny stained glass piece (without obvious stained glass...) with all of the small, fragmented pieces breaking off in odd parts of the pin.

(I realize that stained glass pieces are nicer than this pin. It's just the thought that came to mind)

Although, he does kind of look like a Muppet

This is only one pin in the set and while I agree this one isn't great, the others may be amazing! Although until we can find someone who goes to Norway, I doubt we'll get a photo of these pins.

Well, these pins are officially the grail of all grail Frozen pins. If anyone goes to Norway, you can probably make about 1/2 your trip back (the trip costs $5000) depending on how many are in the set...

I'm working on getting pictures from some members on another group I belong to.

I actually think his expression isn't that bad considering some of the derpy pin faces we've seen! I mean every time I look at my Rapunzel Tower jumbo I'm like, look at those eyes O.O

If you think it really is anime inspired, perhaps they are targeting the Japanese travel market more than the U.S. I know WIR, aka Sugar Rush in Japan, was a big hit over there. I'm surprised we haven't seen any Sugar Rush specific Japanese pins from Tokyo yet. These Frozen pins will be dang near impossible to get. Do you get 1 pin per person when you go on the adventures? If they let you buy as many as you want you could probably pay for a family of 4 to go for a whole week with just pins.

(Pet peeve: the definition of "completist" is someone who attempts to get every item in a certain collection. Whether they've succeeded in getting them all or not.)

There are some Brave pins from Disney Adventures as well, for Scotland... those are gonna get grail-y too, I have no doubt. I'm assuming the only way to get hold of Disney Adventures pins is to go on the trip? Any world travelers out there? :D

I kinda like Kristoff... he's very stylized (almost anime-like, as Mark said) but still better than Rapunzel's eyes on the carousel horse... ;)

I have not yet gotten over the price tag for an ABD trip so haven't been on one. But, I am a member of a forum where a lot of people go on the ABD trips. Each person gets 1 pin per day to commemorate where they visited that day. They do not get to buy any extras and a lot of the other forum members will never part with their pins. They don't even post pictures of the pins they get so as not to spoil the surprise for other members who have booked but not yet gone on their trips.

*Maybe* the tour guides (there are two) will have extra pins, in case someone gets a damaged pin or a kid loses their pin(s) so maybe it's possible that there will be extras left over at the end of the trip, but I don't think the tour guides would be able to sell them.

There are adults-only trips for ABD (in case you don't want to be vacationing with kids) and these tours typically have up to 40 people in the trip (which is typical as that is how many people can fit comfortably in a bus with room to move.)

I am still working on getting pictures of the pins from the Norway trip. The first trip (a promotional one, there are at least two couples who won the trip that are going end of June) is set for the end of June but the first official paid trip is set for early July. It doesn't appear that the promotional trip is a shortened version of the regular trip (some media trips are shortened versions.)

Looking at the itinerary here:
http://www.adventuresbydisney.com/europe/norway-vacation/

It mentions trolls and, of course, Frozen, so I am expecting a pin of a troll (or two). We already know there's the fjord one (probably day 2 or 3)

Stave Church - it says they provided the inspiration for Frozen.

Day 4: hey, they're showing a Disney movie. Any guesses as to what it will be?

Remember, though, first and last days are check-in and check-out of hotel, so it really is a 6-day trip. If there's a welcome pin and a departure pin, I can see there being 6-8 pins total that are given out.

The Scotland ABD pins weren't all Brave-related so I'm guessing this trip won't be either. I believe the Brave trip was the same length (or 1 day longer) and it had 3-4 Brave-related pins.
