How long do you wait?

Just wondering how long you wait on average after making a trade request to hear back? 2 days, a week? Just out of curiosity and thinking about trading etiquette!

I posted this same thing when I first came on here. Generally 4 days is what I give. But nothing more.

If I initiate a trade through Pinpics TA, I don't hold anything because replies through Pinpics are rare these days.
If I accept a trade through Pinpics TA, I will hold the pin no more than 2 days.

Of course, I've had people come back to me a week or so later claiming
My mail went to their junk folder or their dog was sick or whatever and ask if I still want the trade. And if I still want the trade, I am always happy to say yes :0)

I hope Shannon won't mind if I revive this post, because I'm wondering this too and would like to hear more people's thoughts.

If someone makes a pinpics TA request to me, and I reply to them with a counter offer, how long should I wait to hear from them? I have another trade offer for my pin, and it seems like if I don't hear back in a reasonable time, it's fair to move on, but I'm not sure what's a reasonable time.

Generally through pinpics I would wait 2 days and then move on. But I always send one final message incoming the other party, so they know the situation.

On a separate note; pinpics trade requests always go into my Junk folder and I don't know why but that's genuinely why I never see most of them!
