Just thinking, how do you all transport your pins when traveling to events?

I have my pins on cork boards and just put them all in my backpack to take and have my le pins in the actual trading bag. I have seen a lady that has a stroler for her pins hehe.

I don't do it, but rolling suitcases are very popular for the Epcot events I've been too. My pins all fit in a backpack.

I only bring pins people wanted to see or pins that I'm willing to trade in 1 small pin bag and 1 medium pin bag. I never bring too much because I hate that constant fear of "I'm carrying over $1000 worth of pins right now" where I get paranoid and keep looking around me like everyone is trying to steal my pins or the fear that I might lose one haha

Well we also do vinyls but we have one of those collapsable rolling crates from office max that currently has all the smaller pin bags/pins in show boxes (jumbos etc)/boxed vinyls then we have a canvas tote for the 3 boxes of trader vinyls that sits on top of the crate and a backpack for the 3 larger pin bags

Before I combined collections with my other half I only had 1 large pin bag that I traveled with..

Boy am I glad I don't have that problem!!! We take 2 carry on bags stuffed full with pins and pinbags. Last trip we took over 1200 pins with us. No, I am not TSA's most favorite traveler as they spend 20 minutes going though everything.

We have a duel stroller for the kids, it has loads of space for bags. I think once we and our friends took the kids out of the stroller and managed to put something like... 10? full sized FULL trade pags in there as well as the diaper bag and 5 jackets.

Good thing you only bring pins worth $0.83 each at the max since that just reaches $996.00 Even a penny more on those pins and you'd cross the $1000 threshold ^_^

I'm also trying to decide what to do. We have a Zuca (also shared with cats.) and ours is very close in size to the carryon size for Southwest. I need decide if we are bringing it and if we are getting the travel cover in case we have to check it.

I bought a Zuca and a travel cover. Since I probably can't use it as a carry-on, I plan to pack non-pin (ie. less valuable) stuff in the Zuca and check it. I'll carry my pins in a different bag on the plane, then switch them over for the event. They're all in 3 binders and a pin bag, so moving them to the Zuca will be easy.

With all the talk about theft at last year's event (and the fact that I'm often oblivious to what's going on around me), I'm actually considering getting some long-ish bike locks to attach my binders to my Zuca.

I've never been to one before, but I keep my pins pinned to a cut-down-to-size manila file folder, inserted into a sheet protector, inside of a three ring binder. I will hopefully be attending the My D Pins event over Labor Day, and I plan to use a stroller to carry my notebooks.

We use a large Disney pin bag from, I don't know, 2000? But it only contains our trading pins.

Our keepers are on the iPad. But since we've moved a lot of "keepers" to "traders" recently, I'm going to have to re-do those images.
