In August, I made a deal with someone in Europe for this pin

pin83141

Pin 83141: DLP - Rapunzel & Pascal

Paid straightaway and I got it for a bargain. £25 incl. postage to UK. Anyway, I paid straightaway and I never heard from her after that.

I waited 3 weeks, no pin, contacted her she said she posted it with a tracking #. Waited a week and a half, no pin. So contacted her again, she didn't bother to reply. Then I waited another week and filed a complaint. She replied immediately saying she had posted it and then went into her paypal and mark the status as 'sent' (bearing in mind this is the beginning of October - you would have marked it sent in August, no??) . I never received the pin and I could not track the package either. Also the date that the tracking # said it had been posted was a good week after I had paid.

Anyway, she promised me through PayPal that she would check at the Post Office. That was the last time she contacted me. In the mean time, I asked my post men and phoned up sorting office - still nothing. So it got escalated last week to PayPal and they have decided in my favour. So luckily I have my money back but no pin, I don't think she ever did post it & I think she used a tracking # from something else that she sold on Ebay :( and I now know that I probably won't be able to get a good deal like that again :(

So if anyone sees any for sale, please holla at me :)

Moral of story = If it is too good to be true, it usually is!!!

I'm sorry to hear about this, I Am glad you got your money back and hope you will come across the pin again. On the bay I bought the circus hades pin, tracking number showed it never left the post office.

Not making an excuse for that trader not talking to you, but to be UPFRONT, I really have had BIG trouble with UK's Royal Mail. I always hold my breath when I'm doing a trade w someone in the UK...don't know why there is such a problem with their mail.

I got taken for the Brave uk pin by someone and lost out on pin and money

Thats really awful. Was it thru pinpics or on here? Did you not complain to PayPal to get your money back? Sorry to hear this, Tori.

Was that in the UK or USA? That's really weird. So did they post it but its lost at post office?

i haven't really had much problems with UK Royal Mail, this is probably one of the first. Have you had packages go missing?

I hope it wasn't intentional :( Becaue that's just low. So sorry for it not going through :-/

Yeah, it was from France :( I don't believe she did post it because she avoided all my messages afterwards. People can be so mean. I'm glad PayPal gave me my money back, I would have been so upset if they sided with her.

When you say never left the post office, do you mean the post office scanned as in accepted it and never sent it out, or does it just electronic postage received? If it is the electronic postage, that means someone bought postage online, and they may never have dropped it off at USPS. If it shows acceptance at a branch, I would call that branch and ask them.

I've had TWO pkgs from UK go missing. Some of those that I DO get, I swear were put on a 19th century sailing ship and went "round the Horn" to get to TX.... take a long time. Some DO come in about 10 days, but I never know which situation will occur.

It was a us seller and I didn't fancy trying to call xD I dunno the tracking number said it was in the post office and it stayed that way for about a month. They said they would refund, so im keeping my fingers crossed.

No it was facebook and I emailed the person a few times she finally emailed me back and said to me that she does not appriciate me asking her about getting them that she will refund me the money never did so I think it is a scam and i sent the money as a gift so ebay said there is nothing they can do about it.

The only thing I will say is that Royal Mail are buggers when it comes to refunding money. I have made claims for missing items/damaged items in post and they want proof that you bought the item & then they make you fill out loads of forms and then they'll say "as the package is from the USA, they have to deal with it". I hope you will get your money back but this has happened to me so many times.

That is damn rude telling you that she did not appreciate you asking her where your pin is. That is grrr!!!!! Was it a lot of money? Yeah, thats the trouble when you 'gift' money, I'm sorry you lost out on a pin and on the money, what pin was it?

I've had no problem with Royal Mail in terms of there delivery. ( apart from the time of day it arrives) the pin never left the post office on there end. It never left the us, let alone enter the uk :)

Ive had packages shipped from a county over and it has taken them over a month to arrive 0_o
They decided to ship it to the other side of the US, marked it as out for delivery, than realized it was on the wrong side of the US -.-
I got it back, but USPS was really a let down at that point >.>
