I'm new to pins so I was wondering about how DSF had the avengers pins. Now do they do all marvel pins? Like when batman comes out will there be pins for that movie ?? Because I didn't know Disney had rights to make pins from marvel comics? Because if they do come out with batman pins that would be awesome. But I know chances are very slim. Im sure someone has the answer. Thx

They purchased marvel a while back, and batman is DC comics, which I believe is owned by WB

So no they will never make a batman pin
and (even though I'm hoping with all my heart that they do) they may not make a Spider-Man pin for a while, even though the movie is coming out in July
as of right now they don't own the right to the character, that belongs to Sony, at least the movie rights

Only time will tell
and if we don't see a Spider-Man pin then we may not see any X-Men, Ghost Rider (even though it's not very popular), Fantastic Four, or Punisher pins soon because of contracts

Oh that's right I forgot there DC comics. That would be awesome if they made spiderman pins. .. I would love to collect them. But I'm sure Sony won't allow them if they have the rights. Sucks. But thank you for letting me know.

Every now and then they may pop up for sale.. I've always liked batman and dc more then any though

I wish I lived near the park and DSf so I could go to the releases and hang out and trade with everybody. My wife and I are thinking of moving down there but we don't know what area is safe to raise a family. ..

Actually, The Punisher has reverted back to Marvel Studios since the last two movies did so poorly. It wouldn't surprise me if Ghost Rider also reverted back soon.

And it's entirely possible that they can still do Spider-Man, FF, etc.- they just wouldn't be able to do movie likenesses. If Marvel couldn't do Spider-Man et al *at all*, then the comics wouldn't be able to come out- they would never sell away that many of the rights...

Therefore, pins would be possible for all of them if they kept comic-style art instead of movie stuff.

Except Batman, which they explained is a DC Comics property.

Well they still have certain restrictions of what they can and can't display
Remember that universal studios own some rights to spider man and disney can only display certain spider man items in their parks
and seeing that universal has pins as well, I'm sure there is some clause to that

But I'm hoping that I'm wrongt

If they start making x men pins i might be in trouble i have always loved them!!! I hope they do make them!
