When we first started PinPics over 12 years ago we never envisioned it would become the website it is. PinPics has been my baby, my headache, my heartache, and my joy. It has been so many things to me over the years that I feel like I raised an infant to adulthood and it is now time to let it go and fly on its own.

Releasing PinPics to a new future was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. When Anthony and Samantha approached us on behalf of Lansam with their ideas for PinPics and their desire to implement them we were blown away. We asked question after question and they answered every one of them with clear plans and such a beautiful vision for PinPics’ future that I grew excited very quickly.

With the investment that they were willing to make in PinPics future it only made sense to hand ownership of the website over to them and after much soul searching we decided that PinPics and the Pin Trading Community deserved the future that they were offering it.

I am sure that many of you have wondered about their role in the website and what this means for the community as a whole and I wanted to let you know that I believe 100% that they are the future of PinPics and that it is the best hands possible.

Do not fear Britt and I will still be here. We are still part of the community and the website. I even find myself with a renewed excitement over trading in the future. I will even have my own little founder’s corner where I get to post stuff for you guys. I have a project I am getting ready to start with my son that I can’t wait to share with you guys. Please help me in not only welcoming them but also getting behind what they are planning with our whole hearts.
To the Future,

Figgy

We look forward to what Anthony and Samantha have in store for us!!

As a preemptive strike --- Please refrain from making comments or suggestions on what you'd like see changed with PP. I'm sure Anthony and Samantha have a lot of neat things planned for us, and let's wait to see what they are. I'm also sure at some point they will look for feedback, and will make it clear when that time is. Let's keep this thread focused on thanking Fig and Brit for everything they've done for us over the last 12 years. Thanks!

thank you. When i first started seriously collecting i was getting panicked that i couldnt keep track of what i had and the info on the pins and then i stumbled on PINPICS and it was such a help and relief--so smart and organized, thanks again.

Yes! Thank you for all your hard work! Without pinpics I would not have a fountain of information to go to and also wouldn't have quite as many wonderful pins as I do now. ;)

It will be interesting to see what these changes and updates will be. Hopefully they will follow through with them. I know I would love to hear what was promised to know what to expect in the future.

This is exciting!! I, also, am very thankful to the creators of and contributors to PinPics for keeping it going all this time. I wasn't aware of this post when I asked for some help with PinPics earlier this evening. Happy to hear that the site will continue and looking forward to seeing what good things come along in the future. Thanks Figgy!

Thank you for your dedication and service.

But we're still going to say that it won't be the same without you at the helm. Thing will be ..... different.

Thank you so much for the time and effort you have put into PinPics and looking forward to what's in store! When I really started to enjoy pin collecting again, PinPics made the hobby much less intimidating and far more enjoyable. I'm truly grateful for the hard work that has been put into the site, and I'm sure it will only grow in being an awesome resource for pin collectors :hsd:

I havnt been collecting for that long but without pinpics I would certainly be up in the air! Thank you for making your site so usable and accessible and free for all! You really have made a huge difference to me and to everyone in the pin trading world!

+1

I so wish I could have met you guys earlier, but better late than never ;) Pin trading/collecting would be lost w/o Pinpics. Thank you for your hard & dedicated work.

Anthony & Samantha have really big shoes to fill, but I know how committed they are and I am sure they will take very good care of their pin trading friends :) Best of luck Anthony & Samantha!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Did I say thank you??

Also a big thank you! Pinpics was one of the first resources I discovered when I was bitten by the pin bug. It is really a credit to you all to have developed such and useful and still relevant resource for this hobby/addiction.

If it hadn't been for Pinpics I would have no idea how many pins I have or what they were. The site is a life saver for all of us in the pin trading/collecting hobby. Figgy and Britt have been such intergal parts of our lives that it's hard to see our future without them. I hope the two of you will continue to be involved in the hobby and keep posting on this board. I wish Lansam the best of luck but I hope they fill just one of your shoes.

Figgy & Britt, thank you! Your insight to begin cataloging pins was genius to say the least. Pinpics was/is/will be an invaluable source for the pin community for years to come.
