Must have been during my craziness, I don't even remember getting the email, but for a short time there I wasn't doing anything online! Missed a bunch of my points and such too! Oh well! LOL

I heard you can get the first couple of movies really cheap but the other movies you have to buy after are really expensive. Is this true and worth it? Asking because I am broke lol

I think you're thinking of Disney Movie Club, not Disney Movie Rewards. Disney Movie Club is where you buy 3-5 DVD/blurays for 1.00 each or something like that and then commit to buy x amount of movies at full price. I don't really think its a bad deal but I have not done it yet. You do need to remember to say "no" to the mailers each month or they will automatically send you movies you may or may not want.

The OP is referring to Disney Movie Rewards. Anytime you buy a Disney movie (from anywhere) it will have a code in it for a specific number of points. For example, I just bought the Little Mermaid and it had a code in it for 250 points. You enter your code and it saves your points for you. You can then redeem your points for rewards. If you go to Disneymovierewards.com you can browse the various rewards.

I seem to always miss out on the cool rewards. Maybe I miss the emails. I spent 1900 points on that one DMR pin. Its a nice pin but I don't really have a desire to keep it and about 1.2 million people are already trading it. Oh well.

ITA I'd love to see them have more pins. I would be a lot more likely to spend my points if they had more exclusive (particularly LE!!) pins. I'd probably even buy movies just for the points.
