None of those pins are even close in comparison to the Enchanted BT.
Personally, that's kind of subjective because to me, that Tangled WDI pin is definitely up there if not worth more than the Enchanted BT, at least in my eyes. If Mark doesn't have any interest in that pin then maybe for him, that Tangled pin is only worth an HM pin, but going by past sales, knowing the movie, and the pin itself, I would personally even be willing to say that the Tangled pin will be worth more than the Enchanted pin down the line (pins are always most expensive the second they come out and the Enchanted BT is only ranging from $130-$200 and will no doubt go down...my guess is the prices are even further inflated due to the whole "missing on the day of release" problem thing).
I also DO NOT agree that the WDI Rapunzel & Flynn Thrill Pin is a lop-sided offer. If that's not a decent enough pin...I will gladly keep mine and accept the honest truth that Enchanted is well beyond my reach. I also don't think my response to Mark was out of reason when you consider how horribly he treats people sometimes.
Just saying...if I get an Enchanted BT down the line...Mark, may I have your trade offer lol xD
I get what the issue is. This thread could have simply been like Psycho Pixie's tutorials on how to do something you may not know about. But it wasn't. We didn't really need the backstory or "don't be like this guy," only the instructions. Including the backstory gets people wondering who's the guy who won't trade with Mark... then that guy needs to defend himself and now it's a thing.
I agree, I love the example (I'm all for examples), but I'm not sure if it was done in good taste, for a few reasons:
1) Describing a similar story or summing it up in Mark's own words may have prevented the writer from knowing if he was talking about him exactly. Posting their e-mails though makes it obvious.
2) While the example is nice to have, like the other "How To" threads, it didn't NEED an example, especially one that would so easily offend another member.
3) Perhaps my biggest problem with the use of the e-mail is the fact that Mark is well aware that the writer frequents DPF very often! I think this is the part that makes me believe that he is directly trying to piss the writer off. I can understand if the request was from someone you'd never heard of and assumed they'd never see this, if they don't see it, what they don't know can't hurt them, no foul done. However, knowing the person is on DPF, posting their e-mails you cannot say "I thought they wouldn't see this" so what is the reason behind posting the e-mail? Obviously they're going to see it and obviously it's going to anger them, and obviously it's going to cause drama, even if just between the two of you. So I can't help but feel like this was some type of revenge against the writer for the e-mail, even if the e-mail wasn't written in the nicest way and could have been ignored.
was going to skip the ice cream, because it appeared to be settling down, but then well... maybe not.
Ice cream cookies!
Are those macaroons or ice cream cookies? Either way they are amazing haha xD
