Learn to unselect pending trades. Don't be this guy!
I get what the issue is. This thread could have simply been like Psycho Pixie's tutorials on how to do something you may not know about. But it wasn't. We didn't really need the backstory or "don't be like this guy," only the instructions. Including the backstory gets people wondering who's the guy who won't trade with Mark... then that guy needs to defend himself and now it's a thing.
I do this also. Rumor is the new pinpics site when it's finally up, may allow you to select multiple pins for a single trade. That may be a pay-for feature. Still just rumors though.
I think it would actually lessen the issues of people getting upset over lopsided trade requests. I try to send out equal trades but if I know if it's not I will add a comment. If they can allow mutli-trading, we'd be able to keep adding until we think we got somewhere. If you don't go to the pin events often your only chance to trade multiples up to a single better pin is here, like the DPF auctions. You could also go the other way and offer your 1 good one for multiples of theres. For example, I have an extra Wreck-it Ralph D23 75th jumbo and I would probably offer it for some of the pin trader delights I need if the other person is willing to add. But I feel bad sending that out and having to say "You need to add more." in the comments. For some reason I'm fine the one way and not the other.that would be great! less time-consuming.
Mark-thanks for that info, as I did not know you could do that. Also, how exactly do you offer more than one of yours for one of someone else's? Or does that just go in the comment section?
Just put it in the comment section. There is no other way to show you are offering multiple pins for one.
If someone is nice enough to reply, even with a "no thanks" you can then reply back and it will go to their email. You can then make a second plea to add more pins. I don't mind looking at someoens traders to see if there is anything I would trade for a pin they want. I'm sure some won't look or don't care for a second plea, but if you want pins sometimes you gotta put in the work to get them!
Ok I'm going to address this now! I don't like you Mark and that's why you got a nasty response from me. Instead of being a cry baby and posting on the forum you could have messaged me like a man. I would have gladly made a counter offer if we were on decent terms, but you have been one of the rudest, nastiest and most arrogant people I've encountered since I've joined DPF and PinPics. I'm an adult and I don't have to walk on eggshells for anyone. As I said, "I don't like you" and that's that! You won't be liked by everyone just like in the real world. Maybe if you treated me with a little more respect I might have spoken to you more nicely, but I stand by my opinion of you because actions speak louder than words and you have always been completely demeaning to me.
DONE!
None of those pins are even close in comparison to the Enchanted BT.
I also DO NOT agree that the WDI Rapunzel & Flynn Thrill Pin is a lop-sided offer. If that's not a decent enough pin...I will gladly keep mine and accept the honest truth that Enchanted is well beyond my reach. I also don't think my response to Mark was out of reason when you consider how horribly he treats people sometimes.

was going to skip the ice cream, because it appeared to be settling down, but then well... maybe not.
Ice cream cookies!
3) Perhaps my biggest problem with the use of the e-mail. However, knowing the person is on DPF, posting their e-mails you cannot say "I thought they wouldn't see this" so what is the reason behind posting the email

Very true. I've done that before. However, there is no other way to show multiple pins for one just through pinpics alone at the moment.

I would like to speak to another moderator in reference to your behavior.
I wonder how the IRS would feel about a forum that condones transactions that avoid taxes on a state and federal level.

I thought you were suppose to receive a warning before an infraction...are you not?
I'm just going to say that I'm a Playground Supervisor at an elementary school. While this may be drama to some people, this is what I listen to everyday. Pin requests are just a computer matching items and spitting them out to emails. If you don't like it, a "No thank you" or a delete is fine. I never take offense to a lopsided trade because I've sent them out myself and sometimes someone says "yes". I love pin trading but at the end of the day, they are just fun, shiny pieces of metal. So have fun with the hobby and, by all means, have some ice cream
