you know when you are obsessed with pins when you read a thread like this and can relate to everyone of the posts:

I dream about running around the park searching for Capt. Jack Sparrow because I know he must have my grail pin on his lanyard.
We have run out of room for pin boards and just ordered 12 more boards anyway.
We now schedule all vacations around pin releases, especially PODM.
We have spread the hobby to 4 generations of family members, so all gifts during holidays are pins.
 
When you walk around the house, and you constantly find stray pin backs everywhere. In the couch, bed, on the floor, mixed in with the cat food!!
 

One time I had a dream that I found a reveal conceal Rapunzel on a CM lanyard and I was super happy and then I woke up... :cry:
 
When you see other pins from other parks like universal studios and tell yourself "
Nothing compares to Disney pins"
 
When your parents offer you a free five day vacation to Vegas, camping, or HAWAII, and your number one problem isn't work...but that it cuts into Pin Trading Night.

And then your second thought is, "Maybe I can go to Aulani for pins..."
 
When you think I'll have to stay home this week, I don't have any money to go out with my friends because I've spent it all on pins!
 
~when you talkpins, and share dpf stories with family members who just don't get it.... Because thats all you think about and thus thats "whats going on in life."

~when your 3yr old knows disney characters but not the alphabet. AND learned her manners from CM lanyard trading.

~when you know your 6mnth olds first sentance will likely be "can I see your lanyard?"

and last but not least,
~when you see disney pins on nurses at CHOC and wonder if they would trade with you.

Absoluely!!! In drawers, on the floor, in my purs and now in my desk drawer at my office!!!!


you know when you are obsessed with pins when the owner of your company comes to your desk and asks Not how your day off was, but instead how was pin trading?
 
You know your obsessed with pins when your boyfriend takes you for a surprise romantic dinner at Downtown Disney and you get mad at him for not telling you because you didn't bring any pins to trade.

Guess I have to keep some in my purse at all times.

OMG i'm dying!! thats awesome. How bout when my husband needs to do business in LA i gently guide him to a week when there is a DSF release or DL release, so i can tag along and just 'HAPPEN" TO be there for a release
