Id like to know this as well. I can never get my dolls back in the box with the tissue paper. But I am going to guess that it is okay because I stored my barbies when I was collecting them in cardboard storage boxes and none of them were ever damaged.

Next year is supposed to be Sleeping Beauty it has always been planned for the 2014 release however it has not been confirmed yet, I would assume it would still be Sleeping Beauty since the live action movie Maleficent is due to come out next year as well. So my best guess that whilst it is still not confirmed there is a strong chance it will be Sleeping Beauty next year and possibly Aladdin the following year.

When talking with a CM the other day they pretty much confirmed Sleeping Beauty will have a LE doll and that they will also do her as a another round of the DFDC dolls. Also Designer Anna/Else dolls by the end of this year I think.

I'm so excited for the Sleeping Beauty line. It was the first movie I'd ever seen in a theatre. I'll probably go nuts trying to get the villain and prince LE for her...not looking forward to the madness!

I think it will be crazy with the release of the two movies. Im wondering if they do dolls if they will look more like the actors from Maleficent. Like how they did the Oz dolls?

Me too. I really, really want Aurora/Prince Phillip as DFDC dolls
 
Pretty stoked that Sleeping Beauty and Jungle book are coming out next year. Not a huge of fan of both but excited it's gonna come out in Blu ray, need those movies in my collection! Plus it will give me more time to save up if 2015 is going to be Aladdin's year! :D

That is exciting and I do agree that Sleeping Beauty whilst not confirmed for next year is pretty much a show in as it has been the expected 2014 release since Disney started doing the Diamond Edition releases.

I am looking really forward to see what they do with the Aurora LE doll, just like with Ariel and whether or not she would be in mermaid or human form, Aurora has the two colors for her dress, will they go with the standard pink or the actual movie prominent blue? It is another thing that will keep us guessing until around June/July next year when we get more information.

Right now I am looking forward to seeing what the Anna LE will look like and when we will be expecting Elsa. I would think Elsa would be a shoe in too especially since both herself and Anna are expected to be princesses and are key characters in the movie so should have a doll for each.

I know a lot of times in the past some cast members seem to be in the know and give us hints which are correct (like the time when someone on here mentioned that they were told it would have something to do with couples). I still think doing the "second" half of the DFTC line would not be the best idea but hey anything is possible and I will be happy with what Disney releases regardless but I would be happier if they were to release different characters again like they did with the villains. Just to change it up a bit.

Designer Anna and else?? Did u mean 17" LE dolls?? If they did both that would be pretty cool too. Does anyone think they will continue the male 17 " line? I would LoVE a Flynn: Eugene doll OMG!
 
I DO think we will get the other 5 princess next year with their fellas, to me it only makes sense....I think there would be too big of an uproar if fans didn't get the fancy embroidered versions of Cinderella, Aurora and the others..
 
Ha! They better continue the 17" LE male dolls. I mean you got Prince Philip as a potential doll to make if Sleeping Beauty is going to be coming out next year. Plus if all goes well with Aladdin, they should have him first in LE dolls since he his is the main character. But Disney is pretty epic when it comes to listening ideas and suggestions from us ... Well most of the time lol.
 
The fact that they already released LE rapunzel and gothel probably means the chances of an LE Flynn are low I'm sure. But maybe they will release him for the heck of it. Tangled is popular and so is the LE line, all I can do is hope
 
I think it's pretty much guaranteed that they will continue with LE princes. Aladdin and Philip for sure, but I can see them dropping Flynn somehow. He's probably the most popular prince of all. I'd also like to see Jafar (which I think is pretty likely), Naveen (somewhat likely) and Dr Facilier (which is a pipe dream). As much as I'd like to see Gaston, the mold they created for Eric wouldn't be bulky enough and then he'd just look as silly and runty as the classic Gaston doll. I mean, I'm sure there are lots of characters we'd LIKE to see, but some are just obvious choices. I'd prefer Aladdin to Prince Ali, but how can they glam him up in his street attire? So, any variation of him will do...
 
Anyone's "Surprise" releases shipped yet? Kinda biting my nails over here. 0.o

Also, not gonna lie, I am still kinda more surprised by the fact that there wasn't some Surprise Surprise Release, like Vanessa, Human Ariel, or even King Triton. Maybe in 10 more years from now when it is the Super Diamond Platinum Deluxe Fine China edition...and it's our kids that have taken over collecting them. ;)
 
Did you get a shipping notice before it showed up? Mine is being sent to a UPS depot in Buffalo, so I need to call them and let them know the tracking info (for my Beauty and the Beast set). I haven't gotten a ship notice and my order history hasn't been updated.

Not sure about the bloodbath but a 17" Maleficent will definitely bring in more people. Probably people who are not even doll collectors because she is SO popular. That is definitely a doll we all will have to be pro-active about! However, I rather not worry about it until July! LOL

What I really want to know about when they will be doing pre-orders for the Anna and Elsa. Also, we've been really focused on just Anna and Elsa but what about Hans and Kristoff? Do you guys think they are going to continue making the male dolls with this movie too? Cuz that would mean 4 dolls instead of 2......seriously these dolls are going to put me into debt!
 
The only problem I anticipate with the release of Sleeping Beauty dolls (especially Phillip if they do him) is the unique stylized look of the characters. Aurora and Maleficent have fairly good looking 12" interpretations of themselves, so the only things I'm worried about there are the details (like Male's staff and cloak + Aurora's curl and hair) and whether Aurora's dress will be blue. BLUE FTW. :rock: And I don't just want a plethora of sequins or rhinestones like Cindy.

But Phillip's 12" is frankly terrible and I can just see his short, angular haircut being very hard to pull off with rooted hair. Eric can (mostly) pull off the pouf. Phillip won't be able too without looking funny. And I want him in his riding outfit because they never do it, but if they do his final outfit they'd better include the cape. and the sword of truth. gotta have the sword. I mean, Eric has a sword and he never even uses one.

I think so. I would also LOVE a LE Flynn, but wonder if that wont happen since they just did Mother Gothel and Rapunzel.

Im pretty sure they will do more Princes. I think they have been more popular than Disney thought. Maybe introducing them as couples was their way of testing the waters. I definitely see them doing Aurora, Maleficent and Phillip as LE dolls next year. Plus I think we will see Aurora/Philip as a DFDC if they continue those next year which it sounds like they will.
