YAY! I just checked and my Eric and Ursula order was closed and tracking information given. I checked it on the UPS site and no info except shipped billed on Oct. 2. So it'll probably come Monday or Tuesday. Although maybe Friday but I doubt it. Ariel came last Friday though. I didn't think it went through so I got them at the DS. So at least my friend can have them if she wants them, or trade for another 17" I want!

ahhhhh!!11 I just went to check and my Ursula has been shipped too!!! I'm super excited...more excited than I was when Ariel was shipped LOL
 
Hi everyone! I just wanted to let you know that the LE Eric's and Ursula's should be arriving to there homes soon! I never got a "Blastoff" Email, but I checked DS.com and I have tracking numbers!! So excited!! I don't think we will get them until next week though since they were processed yesterday and still do not have any tracking info available. Can't wait!! :wiggle:
 
Whoohoo! Both my dolls have been labeled shipped with tracking. Ups doesn't have any updates, but maybe later tonight!
 
Well k finally got the shipping notice for my Ariel doll ! Just a little late lol but it'll probably get to me on my birthday ! Good birthday gift haha. Still no shipping email for eric.
 
Just a heads up to anyone in Toronto. I was at the Eaton Centre at lunch, and they still had 3 Ursula and 2 Eric dolls in stock. Before anyone PMs me and asks me to pick up something for them, I have NO room on my credit card after all these dolls I've been buying. Sorry I can't help :(
 
I got two blast off emails... One with just an Ursula doll and one with both Ursula and Eric. Should I be worried?? I only ordered one of each.

I got the same thing! lol i think its fine because the two ursula's have the same tracking code on mine so its the same thing im guessing. maybe its a mistake.

and AH im sooo happy! i can finally breathe a sigh of relief!

Same here, one email with both dolls and one with just Ursula, but the tracking number for Ursula is the same for both emails, so just 1 doll shipping :D

Okay thank you!! And sure enough Ursula is the same tracking number on both emails! I just looked on DS.com and it shows the same tracking number for both dolls while my emails show two different ones! I'm sure it's fine, but come on Disney get it together! ;)
I'm so happy as well, only a few more days!
 
Remember ya'll, we have already seen that there is a large Maleficent head prototype, the male head may be from Eric, but it looks like Phillip to me (from the DisneyGeek video on the DS store blog). I don't know why Disney wouldn't do just as much for Aurora as Ariel, and because Ariel's edition was upped, and so was Ursula's, AND there was a record sell out time - I think we will see increased editions and at least 3 LE dolls.

I really can't wait to see what they do with Aurora and Maleficent if they do those dolls. I'm sure they'll be awesome!

Didn't someone mention that those looked more like 12" molds?

And I'm not so sure about the edition sizes. Ariel/The Little Mermaid is widely considered one of the most popular princesses/movies. Obviously the increases this year were deserved and justified, but I'm not sure if they'll do the same for Aurora. Sleeping Beauty is not as well known as many other Disney princess films and I fear mostly she's identified as the "pink" princess; I've even heard her confused with Cinderella and Rapunzel. :(

I can see them lowering the edition size back to the standard 5000, but if they keep the 6000 I would assume that's the new standard edition size (for princesses) based on demand. I don't really think they'd bump it up for her higher than that. If they make Maleficent though, hopefully they'll repeat the extra 500 that Ursula got, because I can see her being insanely popular. I hated her Designer doll so I'm holding out for an awesome 17" version.
 
My BatB dolls are due to arrive today! My Disney Store contacted another one--and they had an extra! Talk about making a sad day Magical!!

And my Ursula and Eric are "closed" and have a tracking number! YAY!

Sad thing...now I'm kinda collecting dolls! And they're MUCH bigger than little pins. I'm still trying to clear out some old pins for my few wants. My wants are very limited, so I'm willing to be VERY generous in a trade. Have one of my grails? How many traders of mine do you want for it?

That may be true, but they look like 17in to me. If you watch the video they show a large wax mold of the DFDC Prince head, which then is somewhat smaller when cast in plastic, these are in plastic, so they are likely final size. Also, you can see the 17in prince body, which seems to match the head size. The Ursula head looks like the LE Ursula head to me as well.

Aurora is fairly popular, definitely more so than Cinderella right now. She is on OUAT, and her designer is the 2nd highest selling on the aftermarket (yes this is partly due to edition size, but Tiana who is very popular as well, also has that size and goes for about half of Aurora's price). Plus the Maleficent movie will have people excited for her.

The main reason I think the edition size will increase somewhat is that these dolls are getting ever more popular with the exception of the Brave dolls, people complain to Disney when things sell out too fast and Disney tries to accommodate. I'm sure there were plenty of people who woke up in the morning and Belle/Beast, Eric, and Ursula were already gone. Disney does listen to consumer demand, they increased the Designer Villains after the original fiasco.

Same here! So strange. I didn't see a difference in the shipping numbers either.


I am going to be so overwhelmed if they keep this up. Three dolls per movie is so much. I want them, that's the problem. ;) I've decided not to try for the dolls I've missed except for Snow White because it is just too difficult to afford them and get the new releases. Snow is my favorite so eventually I hope to get her. I can't wait for Aurora. I really hope they make her amazing and not plain and modern like how they treated Cinderella.
