I am right there with you I really want to get these two dolls for my collection, they are just gorgeous! This time around, I will stay up until they are put up online (2 my time) so I don't miss out. I would just be devastated because they are so beautiful, and I personally like them a lot more than the other two.
 

I'm the opposite. I can't decide whether to skip them or buy them both or just buy one. I need more time to decide! I have a phobia to selling and shipping things, so I think I'll be stuck with them if I buy them and regret it. Well, mostly it's the shipping part. I would have no problem selling them if I could just hand them off in person. I did get the first set, which I love, and I love the movie, and these new dolls are beautiful, but I'm not sure whether I absolutely need 2 dolls of each character, however beautiful they are. But I might regret it if I don't get them either, especially when people start posting pics of them. Can. Not. Decide.
 
I am in the same state of mind .I can't decide if I want them or not . Both dolls are really beautiful but I also have the first ones and I am not sure I want two dolls of the same character . And it's not easy to find some space for those LE dolls . Well I have until march to make my mind .
 


I feel exactly the same. I already own Snow Queen Elsa and I love Coronation Elsa, but I'm not sure if I want two dolls of the same character. I don't have a lot of space for the dolls and that means I need to skip an other doll in the future because of the lack of space
 
Do you think that Disney would release a completely new line in the future when they run out of ideas? I don't see them stopping the LE dolls because they are so popular
 
Can someone explain the group thing people have been posting about? I have been trying to find the start of the particular conversation, but can't. I have been able to post very little since my sister is here on vacation.

I can see them doing tinker bell and the fairies. They also have done others outside the princess line. They did jack and Sally from nightmare before Christmas and they also did Jessie, buzz and woodie from toy story (in the 17" doll line).

My fear is they will start putting out to many as they are so popular. It seems any time a line of dolls gets popular they start cranking them out. Then the quality and attention to detail declines. That is what makes these dolls so great. The detail and quality is very high.

For me, if Disney were to release these dolls, I could call my collection done and complete.

With them doing so few releases each year, this collection could really take a long time to finish.
 

Yup! I can totally sympathize with the dilemma! When I started buying the 17" LE dolls in early 2012, I told myself it would just be for my favorite characters only, because they take up a lot of room, and that I would not buy them all... and then... well... here I am! I already have quite a few of my dolls stored away, just because of a lack of display space... Oh, what to do?

lol... Hear, hear! LE Prince Eric does need some more Prince buddies, otherwise it's like a lone man attending a bridal shower!
 

I would love an Yzma!! Her design is so unique...she would make a very cool doll.
 
I just got back from my local disneystore...it was really weird. I asked the manager if they would get the dolls this Friday with the intention of asking how many they were getting in. However she told me she didn't know anything about the dolls. Not sure if she's telling the truth or are they supposed to be surprises?

Im not sure WHY it would need to be a secret release though, as it is already announced. Frustrating though as I wanted to know whether it was worth it to try in store...
 
Yeah, this release is def more hush hush. A lot of CMRs are playing dumb or coming straight out and saying they're not allowed to say.

I only got a response from one person, and it was because he knows me really well. It's stupid. Some of us book time off work for this--we need to know if you're getting any dolls, lol. Not that I mind taking a vacation to go wait in line outside a store for toys, I just want to know if I should wait outside your store or another.
 
I've started practicing for the release. I'm staying up until 4 am (I started last night), went and bought some coffee (to make sure I don't fall asleep), and I did a complete computer tune-up. I hope for a clean pre-order release. These releases usually make my heart race for like an hour after I order my dolls, so I bought a bottle of wine to relax with after the buying is done! I am hoping to get both dolls. Are you guys all going for the pair too?

I bet with the success of Prince Eric, the Disney Store will plan for a Eugene doll. He is one of the best princes out there and is such a big part of the movie. A wedding version would be great! My favorite male character ,after Eric, is Prince Phillip, so I have high hopes for this year's October release!
 

Hahaha! I started with the 17" Gothel because I thought she was really beautiful and I just knew I'd regret not having her and an incomplete collection when they've finally release all the villains. I told myself that my collection was not going to grow and take up space. Then, I tried to talk myself out of the designer villains...and have all 6. Now my collecting has just spread and grown...and takes up so much space.
Good to know I'm not the only one with little to no willpower.
 

Lol I like how you are "practicing" for the release haha. I thought you were practicing by buying items and timing yourself or something haha. Improving on your speed and efficiencies between shopping and checkout lol.


dont even get me started on will power, I have none when It comes to these dolls

I hope this is true. And if it is Im going to go broke in 2014. I want a LE Phillip, Maleficent and Aurora, and a DFDC Phillip and Aurora.

I may have missed this so please forgive me but this thread has become a massive beast to search through. But can you only get ONE of the Frozen dolls through the site. Or ONE OF EACH? Could I do dueling computers and Disney accounts to score one of each?

I just need to figure out which one I would want more. I really love Coronation Elsa more than Snow Queen Elsa (I know Im in the minority there) plus trying to score coronation Anna is easier than trying to score SQ Elsa. I want them to go together so C Elsa and C Anna. But Ill try for all four at some point.
 
One of each per order put one of each in cart and go for it because you will get both

No worries I got my Ursula and Prince Eric that way. I think had I purchased one at a time I might not have gotten both due to resellers buying them all up! I'm going to help everyone I can by going to store like I did for first Frozen release to give others who can only buy online a better chance I hope everyone is better this time

I know I love TENG! It's such a hilarious film and is so underrated. Yzma is fabulous and she was made to be a collectible doll. There is so much they could do with her. I would also love to see an LE doll of Madame Medusa from The Rescuers. She is one of my top favorite villains and gets no love either. If she and Yzma were made into LE dolls I would probably faint haha.

The Diamond Edition DVDs supposedly stop in 2016 and that is how the older Princesses have been released with their Diamond DVD. So we should be reasonably certain to get Aurora and Jasmine. But Disney has been all over the place with these dolls, so I am sure they will continue but I was sad about not getting a Tink or Wendy with the Peter Pan Diamond edition. So I really don't know who they will honor with a doll outside of Aurora (Mal & Philip) and Jasmine because it seems like they think Pochahontas and Mulan won't sell, yet they have issued dolls with very low edition sizes so I don't know why it is such a big deal for them. The Tonner line ended without Pocahontas & Mulan too, so I am not optimistic about ever seeing them, but they would make gorgeous LE dolls. I agree the dolls will go on, but I can't imagine which way they will go unless they start doing repeats in different outfits.
