Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information

I bet with the success of Prince Eric, the Disney Store will plan for a Eugene doll. He is one of the best princes out there and is such a big part of the movie. A wedding version would be great! My favorite male character ,after Eric, is Prince Phillip, so I have high hopes for this year's October release!

I hope so, Eugene is the reason I rediscovered my love of Disney (Zachary Levi is my favourite actor, which is why I went to see Tangled)

I agree, he's great! It interesting to me how a certain character can really reignite a person's love of Disney. The Frozen movie seems to be producing a lot of new collectors. New collectors will likely encourage Disney to keep innovating and producing new beautiful items for us to collect.

So true, in fact I'm pretty sure the only reason my Mum isn't completely horrified by my Disney obsession is because she, herself, ADORES Mother Gothel XD
The demand is certainly a lot higher than back when the Tangled dolls were first released, but hopefully, as you say, Disney will create more items to meet that demand

I believe it will be the same time as the bluray release so March 18 this is not confirmed yet, but I would just check the Disney Store UK facebook page closer to March for more details. I would assume that the UK would not be allowed to release the dolls early so similar to the Ariel release she was not released in the UK until Oct 1 or 2? Cant remember but if the release will be treated the same then the UK should not be getting the dolls released until the same time they are expected to be released in the US which is Mar 18.

so i read the last 3 pages of the posts and heres my thing on them
i want there to be 17" limited editions of
-Silvermist
-Mulan
-Pocahontas
-Esmeralda
-Meg

i would love to see Mulans and Esmes
because i think they would look awesome(i love the asian culture, Esmes look, and i just love silvermist and the fact shes asian and has water powers! maybe i'm a bit obsessed.. sorry)
so if they made them
i would die a happy person lol
as far as designers
i would LOVE to see a 2nd line of all the princesses(considering i do believe that elsa and anna are next) and i would love to see what they would do with them a 2nd time around
and i missed out on the first ones(i REFUSE to pay $500 for ariel but i would love to get my hands on her lol) maybe one day.
the only other ones i want are mulan, cinderella,aurora, and maybe jasmin.

You might try contacting Polaris since he did make a FB account already. I'm nervous about these ones although logic tells me it'll be fine. For the last pair the US had an insanely small percentage of the dolls (considering anyone in the world can buy from us). This time it's possible that more people know about the dolls, but there are a lot more available. I htink it will be a lot like the LE Ursula/Eric and the LE Frozen first release. The early birds get the worms. I just wish that the shipping process wasn't so stressful for people. My Elsa came in about 10 days after I bought her, but Anna took until the end of December. I wish you the best of luck!

Oh yes, I got the Kristoff and Tink Animator Dolls and a Mickey IPad cover. I am nerd though. I waited until right when the site refreshed at midnight and bought them with the links I had previously copied into a word document. Now I know my browser is linking properly and that my add to cart and payment process takes 45 seconds for three items. I am ready as long as the links are shared. You guys probably think that I'm joking, but I am so not. It's a good thing I like to laugh at myself or this would be embarrassing!

I have a question...say i pre-ordered a doll online, but then I went in store to try and get one because i'd rather not worry about it being shipped...if i were successful at getting the doll in store would i be able to cancel my online pre-order?

In theory, yes. But if the item is processed before you cancel then no. I know a lot of us had problems ordering Ursula and Eric and not being able to cancel them. I'm still sitting on an Eric doll I can't get rid if because of this. I would say if you get them online to be happy with that unless you're ready to assume you might be paying double for two sets and you will have to find out how to get rid of one.

I also don't think it'll be that bad tomorrow night. I was able to get the first release Elsa and Anna dolls with no problems (thanks to you). I am just one of those people that like to feel like I prepared. It gives me a small sense of control if I know that nothing can go wrong from my end of things.

Ok thanks for the reply! I think i'll just stick with the online one if i get it...i'm just worried that she'll come damaged or even get lost in the mail which would totally be my luck...but maybe since it's pre-order and they don't ship until march disney will have enough time to get things together so that shipping will go smoothly.

I'm really anxious for tomorrow night! This will be my first LE doll (I can only afford one so I'm picking Elsa), and probably my only one for a while since I'm saving money for when I attend grad school in Scotland next year. I'm crossing my fingers that I will be able to get a LE Rapunzel and Coronation Anna sometime down the road!

OMG! That's horrible!! Soo sorry to hear about your store closing. I would be heartbroken if my store ever closed & always hate that feeling that it would some day D: Are you gonna be transferring to a new one? Well at least you get to keep those & that they're not going to waste. But OMG that's awful that you're store is closing.

On the one note, those pre-sale holders look amazing!!

Thanks for posting these, to those who get them they are really lucky, but, I am so sorry you are loosing your job. That really stinks. One of my least favorite things is starting a new job, so good luck with that and hopefully you will be able to find one sooner than later. I wish I could go to a store to pre-order the dolls, but the closest store is 4 1/2 hours away, and that doesn't really work well with a 25 month old and a 5 month old.

Haha nope. They aren't offering transfers to anyone. They are making everyone re-apply, which is total B.S. because some people have been at this location for 17 years (as long as this store has been opened). There is an outlet about 45 minutes out, which is keeping seasonal people instead of hiring these now-jobless employees. And they are opening a new store about an hour away, and are making them all re-apply if they want to try there, too. And everyone is losing their "years with the company streak" (so no new pins for people on their name tags). One of the women was three weeks out from retirement and had to fight tooth and nail to have them honor it for her. And no one is getting their Disney tickets for the year either. Yayyyyy magic~~

Wow seriously!? Even for the people who has been there since the beginning? That truly does suck though. Plus you're kinda losing your "Disney family" too. Bet you had awesome memories with them. Cause I know I do with my team at the outlet store. But hey an outlet isn't that bad? LOL. But oh wow not even giving your last Disney tickets either for a sentimental goodbye gift? Oh man, so many post I would like to reply or comment to, I have fallen sooo behind lol. Those LE vouchers are so beautiful, I would like to try my DS but the " what if " and how far it is from me, usually keeps me from trying to pre-order or buy the LE dolls there. I've seen their pictures and WOW I still can't believe they're real, I won't until I hold them and stare at them for hours haha.... I will be trying for both, boy! can't wait it's almost here. Been trying not to think to much about until the actual day so I don't get so worked up about, because I do hehe...

@ Meawhite: Hahaha... I have done the same LOL. Also I make sure batteries in my keyboard and mouse are fully charged and usually restart my comp. and pray that my internet doesn't go out LOL, which thank goodness it never has well not at that time. But just in case I have my cell phone ready hahaha....


but of course I have mainly been always able to get my dolls thanks to all of you here who have posted their early links ^^ lots of love to you all.
