Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
it really is. however one my co workers got hers at a consignment shop a couple years ago for 20$!!!!!!!!!! Yes Only 20! Still in the box and all. I almost didnt believe her. Its amazing that some people dont know what they have or what theyre getting rid of especially sing the price tag is 99 dollars on the box. Shes a major snow white fan so she deserved her but I should be so lucky lol!

Oh, I wish! I guess miracles and dreams do come true! LOL :)

They do! for those of us seeking out grails its only a matter of time. We need only remain vigilant and steadfast! Even if that means waiting for another Snow White On her next movie release. But ill always want that one because of that gorgeous outfit!

ebay and amazon seem to be the best bets I dont know of any other sites similar.

Well, you could always buy one from someone through paypal on one of the Facebook pages. PayPal has the buyer protection. I would never flat out trade. But of course, you have to be careful.

Yesterday I bid on eBay and the item was the LE Elsa doll Nov. ver, and I bid just a few minutes before it ended and no one had placed a bid on her, so I was lucky then, but guess what.

Ofc there had to be two more people that placed theirs bid in just a few seconds before it ended, and stupid thing was that theirs bid was for a much higher prize then it had to be. So I couldnt bid again.
(maybe because they wanted it so badly and lost an leg and arm for it)

I was so close to get this doll this time, I have been waiting for it since I missed the pre-order and now I had a change to get it for a good prize and with no customs duty.. Geez. )':

Agreed, never ever do a flat exchange where both parties simply mail the doll on the same day, unless you personally know the person or have done business with them before, but even that has certain risks. Always always always exchange the same amount of money on Paypal before trading, so you at least have some protection if god forbid something goes awry.

I'm sorry to hear that :( Hopefully this means that you missed her this time because you are meant to get her for even less. I have my fingers crossed for you that you get your doll soon :x: Are you also getting the beautiful March edition Frozen dolls?

Thank you so much, I really appreciate to hear those kind words! :)
Yes I will try my best to get the new LE Anna in her iconic outfit, from the swedish disney store website. I think she and Nov. Elsa will fit perfectly together. :)

Calling the US Disney Store to get them to change the address for my Frozen dolls were a pain in the...
Since it's a Japanese address, I of course had to spell out everything, and she kept mishearing letters. It took 20 minutes to get it done and I asked her to send me an e-mail so I could see the address in full (since online there's only the abbreviation) and of course the address I got in the e-mail is wrong as well. The issue is that she insisted on filling out the address in the American order, even when I told her it won't work for the Japanese address.
At least she told me to just reply to the e-mail if I wanted to correct it - so I don't have to call.
I don't get why they can't just have the address in the system. Very frustrating.

And now you know what sniping is!

This is such a great thread! Thank you for all of the information. I am new here and new to collecting the limited edition Disney dolls. I only have two of them, but I have been collecting the Designer collection since it first came out. I missed the Limited Edition Anna and Elsa dolls in Nov and the Jan per-order ones as well. :(

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with purchasing from another country's Disney store. I have a friend in France who said I can buy the Anna & Elsa dolls online when they are released in March and ship them to her. I just wasn't sure if there would be a problem because my billing address would be US. Anyone have advice? I hope it's okay to ask this question in this thread. I've never been part of a forum, so I'm sorry if I am breaking any rules.

I've ordered other Disney items not available in the US on the UK site and had it delivered to my boyfriend's family in Ireland without any problems. I don't think they care who is buying it just where it can be delivered. I would suppose the French site works the same way?

Eek! I just saw that she sold for $790 but the end of the auction was not for another four days. How does that happen? Can a seller end an auction ahead of time?

I saw this auction too and noticed it ended sooner than initially advertised. That was a great price and I hope the bidder was able to get her. Not sure why the seller would end the auction so soon though especially if there is a chance for the price to go higher.

That's what I thought to. The seller could have gotten a lot more for her. I assumed the last bidder got her as the doll was marked "Sold." I've seen sellers end items before but it usually says it was because something was wrong with the listing or because the item was no longer available.

Couldn't agree more! Anna will look stunning next to Snow Queen Elsa. I think I like both snow versions of the dolls slightly more than the coronation versions, though I will have to wait and see Coronation Elsa and Snow Anna in person to make the final call. Good luck getting them both

I wondered the exact same thing. Hopefully it's because the high bid was enough for the seller and he/she wanted a quick sale, and not because someone privately messaged the seller offering them more money or to meet up to avoid eBay fees or something.

I always type the address like

0-0-0 Area I am in
Town, Ward, Prefecture

As long as the your zip code is ok and you have the area and the chome numbers down correctly it should get to you. I`ve had things listed with just my zipcode and my name and it has made it to me. Of course being a foreigner helps especially in a small town....

My thoughts exactly. Im thinking they wanted a fast sale. with paypal sellers may have to wait up to 21 days to get their funds.

Thank you! Do you use a credit card or paypal? I realized that it won't let me use a US billing address so I'm afraid the card would not accept the charge. I'm debating on purchasing a prepaid just in case.

Sorry I think I gave you the wrong info. I didn't realize my bf ordered using a credit card he had with an Irish address. I thought he'd used his US one. I hope you find your answer. Maybe your friend could order it for you and you could pay her back?

Speaking of ebay. I had just recived my 17" limited Belle doll and the left side of the box had damage. Now I can ignore some damage but this was just a bit too much. The seller knowingly sent her like that! he didn't list the damage in the auction nor pictured it and was completely unapologetic about it and was really quite rude. But how was I to know of the damage if he lists it as new and undamaged? *Sigh.................. and so begins the ordeal. Im not quite sure how to handle it but he knowingly sold it like that and then admits it.

Ugh, that's why I hate ebay. My SQ Elsa arrived with a couple of rhinestones visibly missing in the front bodice (you could see the glue outline where one had been), which was not apparent in the photos and not made explicit anywhere in the listing. By the time she arrived Nov Elsa had shot up another $200 so I decided to live with it. Since I am not planning on reselling her I might try to replace the missing rhinestones if I ever get up the nerve.

Nothing much you can do about severe box damage though. Since the item was not as described (since it was described as new and undamaged) you could always open a case with ebay if you think it is worth the hassle. Sorry that happened to you. It's always nerve-wracking waiting for a doll from ebay because you never know what condition it will come in.

Opening a case with ebay is an incredible undertaking. Id like to avoid it but the seller is really not trying to help. how some people can knowlingly sell something damaged and not even disclose it is just a little bit dishonest. Hes pretty much blaming me but there was no way to tell since the picture only showed the front of the box and not the sides.

Since the seller did not disclose the fact that the box had damage the odds are in your favor. It was his/her responsibility to explain every detail of the condition of the doll and box. These dolls are collector dolls and the majority of the sellers are well aware that the condition of the box is extremely important to us collectors. The fact that they decided not to provide that information is very shady, but it will come back to bite them. I know its a hassle, but hang in there! pixies! :)

Thanks! I do hope it gets made right. If I had known about the damage it would have played into my consideration of the doll. I just dont know how the seller cant see that they really made the error. ebay is so strict on their rules about items descriptions and how you list item condition. I guess we'll see.
