Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
it really is. however one my co workers got hers at a consignment shop a couple years ago for 20$!!!!!!!!!! Yes Only 20! Still in the box and all. I almost didnt believe her. Its amazing that some people dont know what they have or what theyre getting rid of especially sing the price tag is 99 dollars on the box. Shes a major snow white fan so she deserved her but I should be so lucky lol!
Oh, I wish! I guess miracles and dreams do come true! LOL
Well, you could always buy one from someone through paypal on one of the Facebook pages. PayPal has the buyer protection. I would never flat out trade. But of course, you have to be careful.
Yesterday I bid on eBay and the item was the LE Elsa doll Nov. ver, and I bid just a few minutes before it ended and no one had placed a bid on her, so I was lucky then, but guess what.
Ofc there had to be two more people that placed theirs bid in just a few seconds before it ended, and stupid thing was that theirs bid was for a much higher prize then it had to be. So I couldnt bid again.
(maybe because they wanted it so badly and lost an leg and arm for it)
I was so close to get this doll this time, I have been waiting for it since I missed the pre-order and now I had a change to get it for a good prize and with no customs duty.. Geez. )':
I'm sorry to hear thatHopefully this means that you missed her this time because you are meant to get her for even less. I have my fingers crossed for you that you get your doll soon :x: Are you also getting the beautiful March edition Frozen dolls?

I was wondering if anyone here has experience with purchasing from another country's Disney store. I have a friend in France who said I can buy the Anna & Elsa dolls online when they are released in March and ship them to her. I just wasn't sure if there would be a problem because my billing address would be US. Anyone have advice? I hope it's okay to ask this question in this thread. I've never been part of a forum, so I'm sorry if I am breaking any rules.
Eek! I just saw that she sold for $790 but the end of the auction was not for another four days. How does that happen? Can a seller end an auction ahead of time?
I saw this auction too and noticed it ended sooner than initially advertised. That was a great price and I hope the bidder was able to get her. Not sure why the seller would end the auction so soon though especially if there is a chance for the price to go higher.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate to hear those kind words!
Yes I will try my best to get the new LE Anna in her iconic outfit, from the swedish disney store website. I think she and Nov. Elsa will fit perfectly together.

Calling the US Disney Store to get them to change the address for my Frozen dolls were a pain in the...
Since it's a Japanese address, I of course had to spell out everything, and she kept mishearing letters. It took 20 minutes to get it done and I asked her to send me an e-mail so I could see the address in full (since online there's only the abbreviation) and of course the address I got in the e-mail is wrong as well. The issue is that she insisted on filling out the address in the American order, even when I told her it won't work for the Japanese address.
At least she told me to just reply to the e-mail if I wanted to correct it - so I don't have to call.
I don't get why they can't just have the address in the system. Very frustrating.
I wondered the exact same thing. Hopefully it's because the high bid was enough for the seller and he/she wanted a quick sale, and not because someone privately messaged the seller offering them more money or to meet up to avoid eBay fees or something.
I've ordered other Disney items not available in the US on the UK site and had it delivered to my boyfriend's family in Ireland without any problems. I don't think they care who is buying it just where it can be delivered. I would suppose the French site works the same way?
Thank you! Do you use a credit card or paypal? I realized that it won't let me use a US billing address so I'm afraid the card would not accept the charge. I'm debating on purchasing a prepaid just in case.

Speaking of ebay. I had just recived my 17" limited Belle doll and the left side of the box had damage. Now I can ignore some damage but this was just a bit too much. The seller knowingly sent her like that! he didn't list the damage in the auction nor pictured it and was completely unapologetic about it and was really quite rude. But how was I to know of the damage if he lists it as new and undamaged? *Sigh.................. and so begins the ordeal. Im not quite sure how to handle it but he knowingly sold it like that and then admits it.
Ugh, that's why I hate ebay. My SQ Elsa arrived with a couple of rhinestones visibly missing in the front bodice (you could see the glue outline where one had been), which was not apparent in the photos and not made explicit anywhere in the listing. By the time she arrived Nov Elsa had shot up another $200 so I decided to live with it. Since I am not planning on reselling her I might try to replace the missing rhinestones if I ever get up the nerve.
Nothing much you can do about severe box damage though. Since the item was not as described (since it was described as new and undamaged) you could always open a case with ebay if you think it is worth the hassle. Sorry that happened to you. It's always nerve-wracking waiting for a doll from ebay because you never know what condition it will come in.
Since the seller did not disclose the fact that the box had damage the odds are in your favor. It was his/her responsibility to explain every detail of the condition of the doll and box. These dolls are collector dolls and the majority of the sellers are well aware that the condition of the box is extremely important to us collectors. The fact that they decided not to provide that information is very shady, but it will come back to bite them. I know its a hassle, but hang in there! pixies!
