Limited Edition 17" Collector Dolls Information
well, last year, there wasn't an expo and I think that's why the dolls were at the consumer showcase, that has already happened this year and the video was posted on Stitchkingdom.Didn't Cinderella and all her re-release stuff come out for pre-order after the Designer Villains info was already out? We may just be waaaaay to early on this. But then again, Disney isn't always known for their foresight.

I have some news. I just went to my Disney Store, and they told me the pre-order for Ariel will be July 15 in stores. At least, it is set up in FL for this date.

Could someone explain me how does the Preorder process works in stores? Do you have to pay the whole price of the doll, or do you only leave a porcentage of the full price? Also, I heard before that costumers that preorder the Princess doll, get preference over getting the Villain surprise release. Is it true?
The store manager at the Southcenter Mall in Washington told me they usually get their information a week before any special items are coming in. He told me this on Saturday, so if what the associate told nessamgm85 is true, then that coincides with the manager at my mall told me on Saturday - if they got information this morning, and the release date is the 15th, then that's a week's notice!
No, the entire US (and possibly Canada) will have pre-orders of the LE doll at the same day, when they open during normal business hours. The online pre-order will almost certainly be early morning the same day, usually just after midnight Pacific Time, although it usually becomes "live" (rather than hidden) at around 12:30 am. This is based on what has happened before, although the Disney Store is certainly free to change the procedure at any time.Oh gosh, this is nervewracking! Is it possible different parts of the US have different release dates? How soon are DS employees notified of LE doll releases in-store? Will the online preorder be the same day, before, after, or when? Pardon the questions, I've just never been through the process of getting a LE from the Disney Store and I don't want to miss out on my favorite Disney character of all time!
Again, based on what has been the past procedure, you must pay the entire amount of the doll when you pre-order. You don't have to pay for shipping, since you come back to the same store to pick up your doll when the doll is formally released. In this case, it coincides with when the Diamond Edition is released, on Tuesday Oct 1, 2013.Could someone explain me how does the Preorder process works in stores? Thank you for your answers. So does this mean, to avoid missing out, I should focus on getting her online at midnight instead of at the store 10+ hr. later? And does DisneyStore.com's free shipping offer apply to LEs?No, the entire US (and possibly Canada) will have pre-orders of the LE doll at the same day, when they open during normal business hours.
