I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but you all are so knowledgeable I thought I'd give it a try :) Do y'all think that Disney will release an ornament set for TLM like they did with Cinderella last year?
 
I don't think they will release both Eric and Ursula on October 1st. I think one of them will be dropped and released sooner than this.
The Art of Ariel collection goes up on the 20th. It wouldn't hurt to take a precautionary look at the site, just in case.
 
What I am most worried about with both Eric and Ursula being released on the firs online is the designer Bell and the Beast are also released that same day online. Which I'm hoping the site doesn't crash. I really want Eric and Ursula to go with Ariel and I have no local Disney store, online is my only option

Eric and Ursula will be online and in stores October 1st. Designer Belle and Beast will be in stores October 1st and online October 2nd.
 
This whole thing is a horrible customer experience. Disney is the only company that I do business with that treats customers this way. And I would love to say I am not buying, but dolls are my passion. I think they blew it on the edition size in a D23 year. They certainly don't know their market if they thought the Designer Villains were a guideline. The Eric & Ursula release on the same day as B&B takes the prize for stupidity. I guess they like the chaos. Someone should tell their marketing team that Disney doesn't own Ebay.

My CM doesn't think there will be a problem. We'll see.
 
But the thing is if you think about it Belle and Ursula will be released on the same day but not at the same time. In order to get Belle you need to wait for 12pm to enter the raffle where as if you want Ursula and Eric you need to line up before the store opens in order to get them. If you are already going to go that day to get pick up your pre-ordered Ariel doll than it is convenient to book that one day off so that you could potentially get Ursula, Eric and Belle all on the same day making it easier for people that can not book a lot of time off of work to take that one day off and get them all at once.

+1,000. And again, folks, the online days for the dolls are the day after the in-store raffles.

Disney is doing the best that they can. The people that run the Disney Store operations may not be the same people that run the production end of it, and make the decisions on how much of what they are going to sell where. I sincerely doubt there is one guy, sitting in a dark room with an evil grin and petting a Persian cat, that is trying to make our lives miserable!! :lol:

You know I was thinking of last year with the villains they did a Monday in store and Tuesday online...totally didn't even fully pay attention to the dates since my hubby was so sweet and preordered the set for me so I didn't have to do the every other week thing

Hello! Great thread!! These doll are my favorite to collect!! I recently got Alice and the Queen of Hearts! Searching high and low for Tiana and Snow White!
Can't wait for Eric, Ursula, and Ariel!!!!! Can't contain my excitement! You all think Jasmine will be next? So disappointed they didn't do Tinkerbell / Wendy!!!!
 
I can see this becoming a 17" LE doll. This is def. how Disney would make her. I like that she has pearls in her hair, interesting touch. I also love the sea weed bouquet..

How much longer do you guys think that the Merida+Elenor set will be available? I'm kinda surprised that they haven't placed them on any kind of discount. I'm glad they haven't though because of all the people complaining about them being "too expensive" when really...they are normal priced at 2 for 2.
My only reasons for wondering are because 1: as a collector, it just kinda surprises me that they haven't been sold out yet...after how many months? 2: It makes me hope that they won't do any "Sister 2-Pack" with Anna and Elsa. Cause, I am just focusing on me and all I want is an Elsa. Juss bein honest. ;)
Needless to say...I'm still surprised that they haven't sold out yet. I do wonder how many more they have left.

1: I have a lot of random free time right now so I wanted to say hi to all my collector peeps out there. :wavey:
2: OH MY GOD! Just about a month and a half until Ursula is up for sale!!!! :D
3: Good luck to you that are going for the first couple that is released tomorrow! May your fingers be faster than the servers and re-sellers...and may you somehow remain energized through out your day. :coffee:

Based on the hype that hs been growing since the D23 Expo and the past pattern with the 2011 collection, I would say there is a good chance that they will. :( If the collectors do not jump in to buy them, the sharks will. Despite the fact that LE 6000 seems like a lot in the pin world, in the doll world that is a very limited edition size.
