So here is my stuff from Friday. Pre-trades to the left (and the new ones), board pins to the right. Alice is a scrapper, but it was from Shanghai so I'm living with it.



Here is today's board pins, trade with AidanShepard and a pre-trade for my Dad, I did yesterday but forgot to include in above. The HM pins are counterfeit, I think.



Then after we were done with our tabs, I hadn't really tried to go to the tables and trade my best pins for other HTF pins. So I went back there, and one of the first tables I hit the person had a lot of Frozen pins I wanted, and she liked what I had. So I walked away with this



So all in all it was "Mission Accomplished" for me. In the past, I've never been able to trade like this. Only took 18 years for my books to turn into something people wanted. But I am sure they are torn apart now. While I would love to do another one next year, our travel plans will make it highly unlikely from a cost perspective. So I'm not sure if or when I'll ever be able to have a haul like this again.

A considerable number of grails in there for sure!!! I'm over the moon with nearly every trade I made. But there were some that were super special.

Major major shout out to Kiragigi for spotting this pin in someone else's book, and making extra sure that I was able to trade for it. I cannot express how excited I am to have this pin. It's been a crazy grail for ages and I'm so pumped to finally have it. Thank you so much!! <3

It was amazing to meet so many excellent people! I've had a blast at this event and have adored all the fun. And especially the scavenger hunt and farewell pins! I hope everyone had a lot of fun too! :D

I'll figure out how to post pics a new way since the old way seems to not work anymore..

anyway even after missing most of today to an adventure from the insta-care to the children's hospital emergency dept with my infant (who turned out to be slightly dehydrated and have an upper respiratory infection)

We made it back with an hour ish to go & managed to use our 8 tabs with a minute to spare & even hit the pit for a trade (pit was not stroller friendly & having the husband have to miss all the event due to work made it edges only for trading)

so while we traded a lot less than previous years had an adventure overall! Thanks to everyone who humored us as i attempted to drag a much sicker than I realized 7 month old all weekend..

You know, I was so overwhelmed with trading, that it wasn't until you left my table that I realized you were you! It's been a long time since I saw you and even though I thought you had gotten married, I didn't know about the baby. I traded the Olaf Alphabet pin to you, and you helped me with some mystery sets.

I hope your daughter is feeling better soon!

I don't trade very much with people, but I made several really nice trades with members from this forum. (Hopefully, I have a few more in the works.).

This is most of what I traded for in line, in the back, and with people here.

I'd like to thank everyone from this forum who traded with me. It was nice to meet everyone. Ocean7 traded the Mulan chaser and the Beauty and The Beast Book with me. Hopemax traded the BFF pin and the letter T. As we were waiting outside to go in on Saturday, I meet and traded the Donald and Merida's brothers from watzshakinbacon. Also, I met her friend jprincess.

I made one trade in the back room which made my sister's day. I still can't believe it happened. Someone really liked a pin in my book which she needed to complete her collection. She offered me any of the ACME LE 100 pins on her table for it. I felt bad knowing it wasn't even but she assured me she was happy. This is what I picked.

So in addition to those first Tink Pins I posted, and the ones that are already hiding away in my collection books, here are is the rest of the haul

First pic is board pulls (I had some extra tabs) and they're all AP's except for the Aladdin. I had also pulled two other PODH's, one AP and one PP, but they were traded. If anyone has an AP of the Gargoyle or an AP of Dumbo from the Kingdom of Cute set, please let me know!! They're the last two I need to complete the set.

And here are trades! I admit, I need to brush up on my trading skills. But all in all it was very fun. Plus, at the last minute I was able to grab my goal pin! (Which was finding a replacement for the Belle's library pin which mysteriously went missing from my collection a couple months ago.) A huge thanks to the members who helped with pre-trades too!

Lastly, Chubs191 was super kind and zapped me with some wonderful books and lots of stickers (I love stickers). And a Tink/Periwinkle signature card!!! I'm going to laminate it and make it into a bookmark.

Now I can return my grandmother's Florida Birds book to her! The book is perfect for memorizing local species. Thanks again Sarah!! You're the best.

AHHHH this event has been absolutely AMAZING. When I get home, I'll post all my lovely acquisitions! I am floored at how great it was!!!

So I didn't go to the event. But thanks to NDBounce, Timeerkat, Wazshakinbacon, Newlyaddicted, Chubbs, and Purplemandms (you can see Nymphia's American Sylveon Buddy in the background) I still enjoyed pins from the event and some wonderful zaps! You're all wonderful!

BOOM! MY HAUL FROM MY WHOLE TRIP TO FLORIDA! Including my keeper pins from the event pins, and a ZAP FROM MERLIN.

Oh gosh let's see.

Shout out to Chubs for being the first person we met up with and just being super sweet! It was so nice meeting you! We met so, so many people, it was just awesome.

NewlyAddicted was my first trade of the whole event!! He traded me the Dr. Facilier mask, which was so awesome. Thank you AGAIN.

Haunted575 was amazing as well! I forgot to add her trade to the pins, but she traded me the Crooked Comrades Rhino Guard. <3 She was also a lovely lunch buddy!

A shout out to Kiragigi for being one of the sweetest people I've ever met. She traded me the Steampunk Stitch, Mulan My Dog, and the Stained Glass Facilier. For real - she was the sweetest.

A ginormous thanks to Hopemax, who traded the Being Bad Jafar!!! ONE MORE TO GO. Seriously you are awesome!

Merlin traded the Jim PTD and the Anniversary Baymax!!! He also gave me a shadow box, which was just... so sweet... cuz inside was the BH6 BT THAT HE ZAPPED ME. I JUST. GUYS.

All the others were trades from other people! Not pictured is the Designer Robin Hood that went straight to Merlin. <3

Thank you everyone who traded with me!!!! I had an absolute blast, it was just great. I mean really. Everyone was amazing and it was just so, so, so fun. I can't wait for the next event!!!

Back home and mainlining coffee this morning! First and foremost, I want to say how nice it was getting to meet so many of you this weekend! As a newbie to pin trading and the DPF, you all made me feel so welcomed and everyone was so helpful and friendly. Thank you all for making my first pin event a good one.

Below is my haul from the trading boards. Being a newbie, at first I thought, these are just regular pins but turns, out half of them are AP. I'm most excited for the Tiana banner AP and the it's a small world hula girl AP. (The hula girls are my favorite part of that ride!) When I was getting ready to photograph this, I started to panic that I had lost one of the pins while packing but remembered I traded one of the pins with Emily for an Ursula pin! So, I'm pretty pleased with my finds!
