Here's a bump to help get the madness started!
 
We are now only waiting on mickeymousje pins and Goofy_Moe to let me know what his second pin will be and we can start! I have sent Goofy_Moe several PM's so if he still has not answered by the time we get mickeymousje pins we will just cancel out his second entry and go with the one so we can start!

Yes Mad Hatter we got your pin. It was marked off the day we received it on the second entry. The second entry is updated with every pin we receive.

I am hoping to have the bracket done by Friday evening so we can start this game! What I am going to do is just move everyone up so there are 1 through 31 (since we had a drop out). The person that goes against spot 32 will get a by. Also the four people that go against me will automatically win. Since we had to go with only a 32 spot bracket I am going to give a full day for the bidding. The entire first round will go on Saturday and the winners announced on Sunday morning with the rest of Sunday getting us to the final 8 by Monday morning. Those 4 games will be announced on Monday and go until the next day and Tuesday will be the final game for the championship. The winner Tuesday will be able to see all the pins from the games and choose the four they want. The remainder of the pins will be mailed to Goofy_Moe to use in his efforts for DPF. Thanks to everyone in advance for participating and good luck to all!
 
To further clarify. The first round of games will be posted Friday night. Voting will start on Saturday at 10AM PT (Disneyland time). Each person can only post their votes once per day and can only vote once per game.

For example:Game one #12345
Game two #54322
etc. for all 16 games (5 of these games will have automatic winners)

Voting will be allowed until midnight. I will add up the votes at that time and post the winners. If there is a tie I will post that and we will have an overtime vote that will last until 8am. Everyone will be allowed to vote a second time on that game only. I will not vote during the overtime period. If there is still a tie I will use a random number generator to choose my vote to break the tie (since I am the only one who has access to what pin goes with which person at this time). At 10 am you will be able to vote on the next round. This will continue through Tuesday with the winner being chosen at that time by the votes. If any of you are confused please ask for clarification and I will try to explain it better. I tend to get too technical and confuse instead of simplify. Good Luck everyone!

I have actually made the bracketing and put the pins together according to which one is "playing" which one. There are 5 different people that got a "bye" or "forfeit" the first round and no one has to go up against themselves in the opening round. After the first round anything is possible as the vote is what makes the determination. The selection process was done by a number scrambler. Thanks to all that participated. We actually ended up with some pretty good pins. I am anxious to see who wins this! I will not list my pin numbers until the very end as my pins are not eligible to win but can be chosen by the winner if they want them. I will list the games on Friday.
 
All you will have to do is pick a winner from each set of pins I list and list them as your vote in one entry. It is really pretty easy, you will see. Here is an example...

You would pick a winner in each set and post the two pins in an entry. The only difference in this is that there will be 16 games the first round not 2 and 5 of those games will have an automatic winner because they are either against me or the one person that backed out *that spot will be listed as a bye. I hope this makes sense to you.

Sorry just trying to figure out how this works if everyone can vote then how do we know when the first bracket ends? I thought it would be once everyone who is playing places their votes??? I'm so confused

The voting is from 10AM until Midnight on Saturday and everyday until the game is over. That gives me time to post the next round before the voting starts the next day. If you do not vote during that time period every day your vote will not count. The long time period per round was awarded so everyone would have a time they could vote. We have people in this from across the pond and I wanted them to not be inconvenienced by the voting time. It should end on Wednesday. There are 16 games on Saturday, 8 on Sunday, 4 on Monday, 2 on Tuesday and then the championship on Wednesday.

I really don't see the harm in letting people vote that didn't play. They can not win anything but they can participate and follow the games.
