MG1:Animal Kingdom/TREE OF DEATH--GAME BEGINS
Basil finishes bagging the blood-soaked fur and notices that the color of the fur is indistinguishable due to the amount of blood that has started to cake on it.

"Although it's our first clue, it's not much to go on. Hopefully the lab will be able to quickly give us more information on it's origin."

Basil hurries over to Tink to find out the quickest way to get it to the lab.
 
Eeyore has been observing the commotion from a distance, but decides to meander in. He thinks to himself, "Hmmm, I wonder what kind of fur it is that's been found...maybe the length or texture will help to narrow down the list of suspects..."
 
*Chessie turns his attention from the grisly remains as Aurora and Snow White go over to a still-upset Nala and attempt to get a statement from the lioness. He watches them thoughtfully, barely noticing that Mike and Pascal have left the building and Basil and Tink have put the fur in a bag to take over to headquarters for analysis.*

Chessie (to nobody in particular): 'First Simba loses his head literally ... now Nala turns up, losing her head figuratively, when her daughter turns up missing. Does anyone else notice the pattern emerging?'
 
Pluto starts barking at Chessie finding it odd how the cat seems to float around and vanish and come back the way he does. He thinks to himself how he hopes the cat really isn't onto something with his last statement and begins to stiff more furiously to try to find the daughter before anything happens to her.
 
tink watches as the detectives get to work interviewing nala and checking the crime scene for any other clues. tink calls dsi courior to pick up the sample for imediate testing to determine where the fur came from. Tink then decides to check out the backstage area for anything out of the ordinary.
 
Chessie (to nobody in particular, ignoring Pluto's inexplicably increased barking at him): 'Has anyone heard anything from King Louie and the other detectives back at the secondary crime scene yet?'

*Chessie looks up from studying the remains as the sample of fur is handed over and transported to DSI headquarters for analysis and testing. He surveys the scene and notes that the detectives either are busy searching the primary scene for clues or still taking Nala's statement.*

Chessie (to nobody in particular): 'And have King Louie and the other detectives been informed that a clue, such that it is, has been found and is on its way to DSI headquarters for analysis?'
 
Aurora is with Nala when Mike and Pescal come over and as Nala a question. They take off when Nala answers them with a loud growl. Aurora again tries to calm down Nala and get her to focus on the statement.

Snow White who sees Mike and Pescal running from the scene comes over to help.

Nala is very upset and as such has a very hard time remembering the facts.

After finishing taking Nala's statement Aurora sends Snow White to enter the statment into the database.

Aurora spends some more time with Nala and begins to pet her and softly scratch her head in that once place that cats all have that makes them relax. It is helping as Nala, while still upset and in shock begins to relax as much as she can given the circumstances.

Aurora assures her that the detectives will catch whoever did this and that right now the best thing for her to do would be to return to pride rock and tell the rest of the kingdom what has happened. Aurora also advises Nala to have the other lions arrange a search party and to seach the Pridelands for her daughter. Aurora tells Nala that she will make arrangements to have Simba's head re-attached and the body will be taken to pride rock as soon as the detectives have collected all of the clues.

As Nala is walking away from the scene Aurora reminds Nala that if she remembers any other facts to please let the detectives know.

Aurora sends her forrest animals to start a search party near the tree to see if they can possibly locate Nala's daughter.
 
Just as Abu thinks the world had stopped spinning he realizes it hasn't. He thought several of the detectives had left the Bug's life theater and overheard that they made it to the Lion King theater where there was a second scene but then upon the appearance of Nala in the Bug's life theater they seemed to have all remateralized back at Bug's Life. Thinking something is rather fishy with detectives being in two places at once Abu stares purposefully at Cheshire.

*Nala, having calmed down, apologizes and explains.*

"I heard Simba roar as if he was in sudden and terrible pain. since I was on a hunt it took a minute to run back. When I arrived I found this scene that you are now examining, but there was no one here. when I went to check on Kiara she was gone. Of course I went to look for her but have not been able to find her. Then you guys showed up and my first thought was that you were responsible. Are ou sure Scar is not responsible?"


Meanwhile over at the secondary crime scene Chief louie and the others are wrapping things up.

"Ok detectives I have called a clean up crew to clear this scene. I don't think we will find anymore here.Also te park is now opening to the public. Just so everyone is clear I called AK security to have them double check the security cameras to make sure of Scars location at Simbas time of death. They sent me the picture below.
I am forwarding it to Tink to show Nala. Let's head over there and join everyone else."

OOC*Sorry everyone for the delay....Tuesday is always my busy day. Also we got dumped on with snow. Except for this Thursday most other days are clear so I can get this game going.
 
Tink shows Nala the picture that King louie forwarded to her. She informs King louie of the fur clue and that it is on its way to the lab. She Lets the other detectives know that king louie and the rest of the team have wrapped up their end of the investigation and are on the way here.

As Archimedes finishes up his search underneath the seats, Louie grabs his attention to have the rest follow to the 2nd crime scene at the LK Celebration. Disgruntled by these directions, he has no choice but to follow direct orders from a higher rank. He follows the dancing monkey out the theatre into a swarm of parks guests who are curious as to why the Bug's Life theater is currently closed. A hoard of AK CMs are diligently telling them that it is due to "technical difficulties." Archimedes takes a guess that not even the CMs have been clued into what has happened yet. Archimedes flies higher up as to not be stopped for any photo ops, and follows the King/Chief to their final destination.

*OOC Darn you tink! You always get to those so quickly!!
 
Having stayed with the chief to clear up the original crime scene Figment starts to head over to the primary crime scene. He notices that public are now entering the park.

"More people in the park will only make our job trickier."
 
Pluto hears the question and Tink's answer and is glad someone will be getting a good clue soon. Hopefully she asks a good question so that when the answer is revealed to all it will help us track down the killer quicker.

It seems as though we have the primary and secondary scene pretty wrapped up. He wonders if anyone would want to go with him in a run through the park to see if we can spot anything else or maybe go have a word with Scar to see if he had heard anything.
 
Tink looks at pluto and says: " we need to stay here for now as we havent finished this scene yet, King Louie and the rest of the team are on the way here now. why dont you take mike and pascal and check out the dressing rooms backstage, there maybe something there we can use, like where was nala when she was taken? "

OOC: lol grim, i get up early around 5 am, i dont always get them though. what do you guys want me to ask?
 
Annoyed with Disney for not shutting down a park during a vicious murder, Archimedes nears closer to the other detectives. Now it will be hard to find any clues in between the body and the head, as any of the evidence will be contaminated. Regardless, he keeps an owl's eye on everything below in case anything should be out of the ordinary.

*OOC - Let's keep it simple for now. How about "Is the killer ALWAYS a human/female?" Make a decision with one of those :D

*OOC2 - The first clue isn't a feather!? I'm SHOCKED!
 
Pascal jumps back on Mike's head and Mike jumps on Pluto and he dashes of towards the dressing room. Whilst Pluto sniffs round the room and Mike randomly decides to do some cartwheels around the room, Pascal decides to have some fun and tries some cloths on but accidentally put on a dress.

Pluto finally looks up and looks blankly at Pascal and Mike, they both look at Pluto and decide they should get serious again and look for more clues......

*Chessie, who had been listening to the updates, rolls his eyes at Disney's decision not to close down the Animal Kingdom.*

Chessie (quietly, to nobody in particular): 'So it won't even take a murder to close down the park to the public if someone thinks they can make a killing in the profit margins by keeping it open?'

*Chessie returns to searching the crime scene for clues, figuring that with King Louie and the other detectives joining them, at least they can get the primary scene processed quicker.*

OOC: I would go with something simple, Katy: find out if the killer is always human, find out the killer's gender, or narrow down the timeline of when the killer first appeared.
 
Aurora follow the rest of the detectives to the other scene. Aurora sees all of the park guests and they all see her. She stops to take a few pictures and signs a few autograph books. She watches as Archimedes flys above the crowd. She signs as she walks desperately trying to get through the crowd one of the CM's notices the swarm and helps Aurora makes her way through the crowds.

*OOC: Since this is my first one and you all seem to have done this before I will leave the question up to you :0)

No one really notices Eeyore too much as he walks amid the throngs of guests streaming in, excited about what fun activities the day holds for them, and he thinks to himself, "I wonder what they would think if they knew that King Simba is dead and that Kiara is missing..."

While he may not show it, he is worried that they won't find the killer in time. "I sure hope we find out something more to go on..."

*OOC - perhaps size could be a good question? Or species maybe? but yeah, M/F or always human/always animal is a great start...
 
Mike continued to look for clues all around the area by the dressing room.. He opens every box, goes into each cubical and eventually cart wheels his way back to Pascal and Pluto who have both been luckless aswell!

*Trying to blend in with the tourists, Chief Louie puts on his disguise. Arriving at the Primary scene he breaks out into song and dance. Seems even a murder can't get Louie down.*

*But before Louie continues Nala cuts him short with a roar.*

"Ok OK I gotcha. Detectives divide youselves up and spread out through the park. You all have DFiPhones and can send a message if you see anything unusual. DO NOT go off on your own. We have one clue so far....A PIECE OF FUR. As soon as I get something from the lab I will let you know. I also recommend disguises if you can. We don't have time for pictures with guests."

OOC*TINK--ask your yes/no question here if you want to share right away with everyone or PM me if you want to keep it secret. You have about 10 ours left in tie post period so check your count.
