Someone actually stole pins off the DSF preview boards!

I had a jumbo PTN Paris pin stolen and my friend had vinyls stolen right out of the side pockets of our rolling bags. We never left our bags unattended, but if we were looking at a pin board, we may have had our backs to the bag (our mistake). It is so disappointing to know that these type of people exist in what is supposed to be a fun hobby.

So, to those thieves that were at the Circus, I hope Karma catches you soon!

Wow! I'm sorry you lost your PTN pin. That's just ballsy to take from the preview board!

I just can't believe someone would do that and actually accomplish it! Do you know what pins were taken off the preview board?

Matt on Pin Talk posted which ones. I'm pretty sure he mentioned the Halloween Cheshire pins. Don't understand how people live with themselves after doing things like this. I did notice unattended boards while they were giving the Pin Talk. So disappointing!

Sad Something that should promote friendly trading gets tainted like this.

I am sorry that something that should be wonderful time left such a bad mark for you.

So sorry spiffe (and bummer we didnt get to talk more, i kept missing you guys) I anticipated the boards thing cause i kept seeing pins falling off and people trying to put them back on and nobody was really watching....sooooo OK I AM SORRY I WILL MAIL THEM BACK TO PARIS geezzzzzzzz:facepalm:

At the Vinylmation Event I checked out the preview boards a few times. One time there was maybe 2 or 3 Disney employees sitting at tables in front of the boards. But when I went to look at them a second time later on in the day no one was at the tables or even around. I would've thought someone would be around to act as a sort of security over the pins.
It really is unfortunate that someone would go and steal these pins though because maybe now in the future they won't have preview boards at events or they won't have as many pins out for us to see.

That really stinks...I don't understand sticky fingers especially at an event like this, where the items are there to give the attendees a heads-up! Like Psycho Pixie, I wonder if they'll be dumb enough to put the stolen goods out on Ebay...

Wow and isnt this the first time DSF has ever shown us such an amazing advance preview??? The might not ever do that again now . . . .

I was just thinking that. Here's Disney letting fans see the new upcoming products and are nice enough to show a prototype because the paper drawings don't do the pins justice and someone decides to help themselves. They will either stop showing us or it it will be in framed cases.

So does that mean that DSF is only selling 1 less at the release? if it's an LE 300 then I wonder if they are just selling 299 of them only! That will suck
