i am glad npbody took anything from me but i had to have my boyfriend with my pins all the time so he couldn't go to th boards the entire event but i rather not get anything at the boards than people steal from me.

we just have to be more careful next time i guess, sadly these people will do it again if they have the chance to steal again.

I noticed when I got home Sunday night and unpacked my case. I am just sickened!
 
Wow! I can't believe so many people had pins stolen! I wonder if it was one person (or group) going around stealing pins, or multiple people (or groups) doing it. It just blows my mind that someone would blatantly go around and take pins right out of books, bags, and boards. :(
 
So, most of the thefts I know of happened in an hour and half period on Saturday. Definitely one or multi people working together.

BTW, I have no proof but I'm 85% sure my pin just popped up for sale on eBay. I asked a few question to the seller (asked if it came on card bc mine was stolen without card) and being that it appeared 3 days after it it was stolen, it's never on eBay really, the seller is from Florida and has no other nice pins for sale....hmmmmm.


So if anyone buys it, you will probably be buying my jacked pin. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!
 
It takes an awful lot of cojones to list something you just stole..the next day! UNbelievable. Perhaps the low lifes thought they could pay back their registration fees this way..
 
Whoa! How did you find out about people stealing from the DSF preview boards???
That's freaking crazy! You gotta have a hard gut to do that. Just wow.

A friend of mine was watching our pins when we went and got something on the pin boards, this was during the pin talk, and said there was a gentleman walking around and stealing pins from everyone. Luckily, we had ours packed into our huge black trunk with a huge yellow lock on it so no one could get into it, thankfully.

Now, when did someone steal the DSF pins? What pins did they steal?
I didn't even really walk over to the DSF boards so I don't know what was on there and not.
I was too taken by the US releases and how gorgeous they are.

Well, when I wasn't sitting there with him. I loved how we always watched over our stuff. We always took turns.<3
 
Alexa, The only pins that were on there was the beloved Tales as they were released the 8th . All the others were paper models, thats what I think was taken . Thats why I said isn't this what Tiggernut warned us about . Perhaps someone stealing to turn into scrappers . Get the guns, the firing range should begin shortly . :lol:
And lets do it again next year . Jim loved being there and letting us bounce around the other room to collect off the trading boards . I can't believe its over , C'mon September 2013 . :lol:
 
Wow, I am truly speechless over all of this :( so, many pins being stolen and even off traders very own bags??? This truly saddens me. I am already thinking about getting one of those cases like u had at the tables Alexa! Please let me know where i can get one for my pinbags too :(

Stacy you didn't deserve what happened to you at all. I really hope whomever is responsible gets their share of karma for this...
