WELL Stitch is pretty popular I think,he still is..then theres Alice in Wonderland ,Jessica Rabbit
I could not tell you really...I know I collect Tigger/Mickey and Pirates ..so I guess it goes by preference
and whats hot at the moment
Yeah. That works. Basically if you collect something and it seems like a lot of other people are looking for the same thing. I should have been more specific in my first post. LOL
Historically, the most popular pins have included Tinkerbell, Stitch, Haunted Mansion, and Pooh bear. Other popular themes have included Princesses in general (with Ariel and Jasimine probably the most popular), Figment (especially in Florida), Walt and Pirates.
Tinkerbell, Haunted mansion and cruise pins are my pins of choice but have a wide selection of alot of characters too. Granddaughter is now into stitch and jack and I think they have been very popular for a long time.
I collect Halloween pins, D23 pins and I am way into the 110th Legacy collection right now. My husband collects Jessica, UP, Stitch and he likes the female "evil doers".
Yes I agree ... Tangled, Alice in Wonderland, and Villians are very hot trades . I try to get low edition newer pins in a variety before an event for trades off my want list .
My experience in Pin Trading is that there is that one really "hot" property, then Disney oversaturates the market, and fans move on to the next "hot" property. Currently the "hot" property appears to be Alice in Wonderland. In the past they have been: Tinker Bell, Maleficent, Winnie the Pooh, Stitch, Jessica Rabbit, The Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean and Up. Villains in general has also been pretty popular.
For myself, My wife and I collect Peter Pan (especially Wendy), Darkwing Duck, Haunted Mansion and The Muppets. We also get the odd pin to represent various rides, attractions and restaurants at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
My Hubby and I collect (respectively) Jessicas, Jack Skellingtons, Robin Hood and Stitch, Figment, Haunted Mansion and Villains. We usually have the hardest time finding Jessica's, Stitch's, and Jacks/HMs. Limited Releases are also extremely popular, (i.e. POMH's, stamp series, keep on tradin' collection, etc) or so I've found they've been some of my best traders.
