Hi guys!!
So I finally got around to making a display for my tiny collection of Oliver and Company/Orange Kitty cat display! I started collecting these pins as a memorial for my two orange cats, Bouncer and Biscuit, who passed away recently. Biscuit was a stray, and I sort of cat-napped him, like Jenny did. And Bouncer was the last kitten at the pound, like how Oliver was the last in the box. When I watched Oliver and Company just the other night, the song Jenny sings "You and Me Together" really made me start to cry, but also inspired me to finally get this display in motion!
I haven't *quite* finished it yet. I still want to get new cat tags engraved with their names and the years I got them and when they passed, and apply them to the corners. I will probably add a few more embellishments after that as well, but I wanted to share what I had so far!
The big image of Jenny is from a cardboard standee from when the VHS came out. I thought it would be awesome to make the display! I also have one of Kuzco/Kronk/Yzma and Pacha, as well as one of the live action of 102 Dalmatians if anyone wants them
BIG BIG thanks to Docfish2u (gramps) for zapping me with the Beloved Tales pin...its just gorgeous and it really makes the display pop! I am so grateful for all the pins I have acquired so far!
Bonus! Here is a silly picture of me when I was 5 years old, holding my Bouncer when she was just a kitten! (I obviously had no understanding on how to properly hold a cat!)
