Okay, guys, it has been quite a while since I posted pins of my collection on here. I occasionally post pictures of my collections on Instagram, but never all of them together, so I thought it was time for a new thread.

This is my desk right now...

As you can see, the pins are really starting to take over my wall.

Here are some of my side collections...

This is my princess collection:

Princesses have never been one of my main collections, but they do hold a special place in my heart. My favorite Disney movie of all time is Beauty and the Beast, and Belle is my favorite princess, because she is a brunette and bookworm like me. (Rapunzel gets second place.)

This my Chip and Dale collection:

This was one of my first collections ever. Along with Figaro, Chip and Dale were my childhood favorites, and they are still two of my favorite characters to see in the parks!

This is my Alice in Wonderland collection:

Alice in Wonderland is one of my newer obsessions. My favorite characters are the Dormouse, Dinah, and Alice herself.

This is a little combination of Robin Hood, Sword in the Stone, and Bambi...

I love all three of these movies. My mother raised me and my brother on Bambi - I must have seen it 100 times as a youngster! Flower, Thumper, and Owl are my favorites.

I fell in love with Robin Hood and SITS on my own. Madame Mim is my favorite Disney villain of all time.

This is a combination of Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Haunted Mansion, Tower of Terror, and Mickey icons I happen to like:

Sort of a random combo, but I think they look good together. ;). The stretch portraits in the center was the first pin set I ever collected.

Now for my main collections!

These are my Peter Pan pins...

Peter Pan may not be my favorite Disney movie ever, but it is one of my favorite books and stories of all time, and it was a huge part of my childhood. I even had a marionette of Tick-Tock the crocodile... My Mom would make him walk and dance to my Disney Sing-a-Long songs tape.

As a teenager, I still firmly believed in faeries and mermaids (and do to this day). One of the last things my father gave me before he died when I was sixteen was a porcelain Tinker Bell. A few years later, the 2003 live-action version came out, and I went to see it over five times. (The most times I ever went to see any movie in a theater.)

To this day, I try to read the book every year around my birthday. (Coincidentally, the author, JM Barrie, was born the same day I was.)

Anyway, these are my Figaro pins:

As you can see, few other cats and dogs crept into the second frame to keep him company!

I have been obsessed with Figaro ever since I was three years old and my parents surprised me with a sweet little black and white kitten. I named her Oreo, but she was the female embodiment of my favorite cartoon feline.

Okay, now for some pins that aren't up on my wall.

These are my holiday collections - Hanukkah and Halloween.

Here are a few random pins I keep in my book and sometimes wear on special occasions...

Here is my beloved Taurus jumbo that I really need to frame one of these days...

And here is my Tiki Room collection, which I also still have to frame...

Here is my lanyard...

I don't have the guts to wear grail worthy pins on my lanyards! My lanyard is a mix of easy, mostly open edition pins of all of my favorite characters. That way if one falls off or gets scratched, I won't be too heartbroken, because it can be replaced.

Also, if some new young or young at heart collector falls head over heels in love with one of my lanyard pins, I could always consider zapping them away!

And here is my tiny collection of "Ssshh, I know they're scrappers - I love them anyway."

Okay I think that's finally it! Thank you for checking out my pins. And a special thank you to all of you throughout the years who have zapped me, traded with me, or sold me any of these beauties.

Whenever I look at my pins I get all smiley and weepy because they are so much more than pieces of metal to me... My pin boards are like gorgeous collages of all the friends I've made in this hobby. I love you guys!

I LOVE your collections and how you have organized them! I'm inspired! Oh no, am I going to start a Figaro collection?
