:lol:I know many of you have said in the past that you have found great deals on pins at Thrift stores. I have to say I haven't ever been so lucky, however, today I decided to go in just to take a peek around. Thought I might be able to find a frame or two.
I begin walking through the frame and glassware area. I was quite grumpy as people were so rude and pushy.:squint: I was thinking to myself there isn't anything in here THAT important that one would need to push through the asiles. :squint:I didn't see anything but over priced beat up frames. So I kept walking.
I come across a wall FULL of sandwhich bags will beanie babies inside. 2 per bag for 99 cents each. Most were on sale today which made the bag 50 cents, breaking down to a quarter a piece. I thought WOW, now thats a deal, but I do NOT need anymore beanie babies. As I am walking by, what catches my eye? Of course, Winnie the Pooh so I pick him up. :bigthumb:
I get around to the last wall of the store and I see office supplies... and not just any ole office supply... zipper binders. I begin to look through them, there are a TON there a good 15. Some were in good repair and others not so much. But they were all just 99 cents too! I said to myself well I hit the non pin thrift store jackpot lol. I pick the best binder and walk away with that. Turn around to go look at the bags.
I thought maybe one of these bags hanging here could work or double as a pin bag. I look through all of the bags, I don't see anything that could even remotely work, so make a UTurn. As I am turning I see a bag that looks to be about the size of a pin bag, could it be?? :anxious: :eek2: YES!!!! It is nothing other than the infamous pin bag with the zipper pouches!!!!:bowdown: I whip around and trip myself trying to get back to the bag fast enough. There were a few other people in the asile that QUICKLY moved out of my way. Little did they know I was on a MISSION!!! :eek2::eek2::eek2:
I quickly inspected the bag, OMG it REALLY IS the bag in the picture!!! Look at the price tag and it is only $3.99!!! WOOOHOOOO!!! I quickly proceed out of the asile as everyone that was around me was thinking this lady is
Further down the wall I see more plastic baggies with jewlery in them. Is that a pin backer?? I being looking through the baggies, no such luck with the Disney pins. I did find a couple Mickey Buttons and an AAA lanyard with pin in package still. Those baggies, yup, you guessed it... 99 cents each too!!!
Sooo here are the pictures of my FABULOUS finds today!!!
This is a basket of teasers... I saw all of these pins and nearly lost it lol.
