It is bscips on PinPics. Their actual name is Lucy Treubert[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif].

What happened is:

We had set up a trade for several pins via PinPics and also corresponded via email. Some OEs and common LEs and then the bigger part of the trade: My Wall-e PTD for their Beast and Belle set. (Pin 26641 DLRP - Beauty and the Beast Boxed Gift Set (Beast) and Pin 26642 DLRP - Beauty and the Beast (Boxed Gift Set) Belle ).

They notified me my package arrived at their residence and a few days later I received theirs. All the pins were included EXCEPT instead of sending me the 2 Belle and Beast pins, they sent me Pin 25462 Disney Auctions (P.I.N.S.) - Belle in Red Cape.

I do think this was an honest mistake. The two Belle pins look quite similar and I could understand if they got confused.

This is the photo they sent me showing that they had all the pins we'd agreed upon.

Here is what they sent instead and no Beast:

I have tried messaging them on PinPics a couple times and sent 2 emails but have not heard back yet. It has only been around 3 days since the pins arrived so I understand they could just be busy, I'm just anxious to get a confirmation my messages are at least received and how we can proceed. I have offered to ship them back the Belle pin they sent. I was just so super excited for the Beast pin in particular, it was bitingly disappointing to open the package and see it was missing. And the Walle PTD was one of my best traders (a gift/prize from the awesome Pin Trading Data Base site) and now I am sad that it may be gone and no Beast pin. Part of me is worried if maybe they got confused if they had multiple trades open and my pins got sent to someone else >.< Idle speculation of course, just a bit sad. Also, my slight fissure of concern is that they had set aside the pins for our trade (as evident by their pin board picture) so how did it go awry?

Since I am newer to pin trading, I don't know people/reputations in the pin community very well. If someone knows this trader and can offer assurances that yes, it was just an honest mistake and I will likely hear back from them soon to correct it? Or if they think the pins are just a loss, at least I will know so I can officially add Belle to my Traders. (I don't want to trade her if there is a chance we can sort out the pins).

Any help/thoughts would be appreciated :)

I also made a trade with this person, set up on pinpics not through here but knew they were a member here, and I still have not received my pin. It was a high end trade, I sent her a 101 Dalmatians PODM and the designer cruella and am supposed to be getting the beauty and the beast beloved tales. Their confirmation number says hey received it but I have not heard back from her about a tracking number for mine or that she did in fact get her pins. Not really sure what to do either.

bscips is the username on the forum, maybe you can send a message here? There's no activity on the account but I found the name in the zapping thread from docfish.

PM sent. And, sadly I doubt that it was a mistake. Lately, that user id has gotten a bad rep on FB. If it is the same NM trader I suspect, she also stiffed another DPF trader. You might want to check with member The Wise One here.

Uh oh, I had set up a high end trade with this user and when I asked them to have docfish as a midway (after they gave me a PO box as a mailing address), they mysteriously disappeared from the conversation. At that point I didn't know if they just flaked out from the trade or were truly trying to scam me out of pins but seeing this and other comments from another friend about the user makes me think it's the latter. I really hope you're able to reach them but I if not, I would recommend that you and other traders file a mail fraud complaint with the PO about this person.

I also think that all of you should file a complaint on Pinpics. It won't get your pins back but hopefully it will shut down their account.

PS: sorry to hear about your bad transaction

Well! Sounds like a good old scandal! She pissed off the wrong girl ;) Here is the message I have sent to her multiple aliases and emails: (I suggest we all file Mail Fraud complains, all file PinPics complaints, and all call the local NewMexico PD just to be true thorns in her butt) apparently her aliases are Lillbill on PinPics and Lauen Smith.

So I have been noticed you are on a bad traders list and told you have scammed a few people out of pins. And you seemed so nice to! I am a nice, honest person and being taken advantage of pisses me off. So respond to my messages and send me my pins or:
1) I'll be filing for mail fraud
2) I will be notifying the police, giving your email address and shipping address you provided me, name and aliases, as theft. Walle-E is about $150 pin, $150 theft is nothing to scoff at. Be lucky it wasn't a larger trade so I couldn't file for grande theft.
3) I will be blasting you all over Instagram, Facebook, and every other pin community as a fraud and scammer providing your email, pinpoints ID, etc.
Also, I am not too far from NM. If you think I won't drive to your address with the polio into to retrieve my merchandise you are SORELY mistaken. If that isn't your real address? Have I mentioned I am best friends with a GOVERNMENT LAW OFFICIAL? He has fairly decent reach and lots of friends in the police community arose the west coast. Have fun having the government breath down your ***.
You pissed off the wrong person.
If this is all a misunderstanding I will be sure to retract all my statements and I sincerely apologize. Your last comment about not getting in touch for 6 months does, however, red flag it for me.

It just sucks because I am a graduate student without a lot of money. I was so excited to win the contest for the Walle-PTD to trade for something cool! Most of my best pins have been presents. In the grande scheme of things, I did loose a pin that was free for me so I'm not really out money, but besides it being the principle of the matter, it was so disappointing to open the package and not see those pins :( I would have much rather she sent only the beast and kept the others if she was going to scam me! He was the one I really wanted. Based on these stories I am lucky to have received anything it seems.

I guess, as another member put it, I am a real pin trader now! Went through my first scam experience and all :)

It sounds like they use "misunderstandings" to their advantage. Nice little scam if you ask me... offer pins, send pins, but conveniently send a wrong one in place of the higher priced one(s)? Looks like an honest mistake, but I doubt that it was. I bet they do this all of the time. Glad they were caught, if so. And I hope you can get compensation somehow. Sorry this happened to you.

:(

I am so sorry for this very sour experience. I think you are somewhat lucky that you got part of the trade right. Others did not get anything at all :( Please report this trader to Pinpics at info@pinpics.com.

Ugh, it's so upsetting to see wormy people like this taking advantage of others -_- I just read your comment about lillbill and wanted to chime in that I received a trade request from that account too. When I suggested a trade midway she SAID SHE WAS DEPLOYING TO ACTIVE DUTY that Friday and if I didn't send the pins ASAP, she didn't want to trade. I am not a member of the military but I find it especially insulting that they would pretend to be a service member to pressure someone into sending pins faster.

barf. i hope they get an anal rash/ what a jerk. I am posting thier name and IDs on all my FB sites, so sick of this crap. Funny i have given offers to this person on PP and never got a response THANK GOD. BTW Pointsette she/he is reading everything you post so delete some of your plans.....fyi scammin Aholes use multiple IDs to monitor all posts.

So horrible all these scams.

You are lucky you got another pin. It could be worse.
And just like dawny said. He/she is probably reading this so be careful with the things you are posting.

UPDATE: They have contacted me and paid me for the Wall-E PTD pin because they didn't have access to the pins we'd agreed upon. They did make this trade right and I want to commend them for this. That said, SEVERAL people have come forward here and on Facebook claiming foul and trades gone wrong and it did take the threat of a civil suit, police action, and emails to multiple aliases to get the matter resolved. I have about 5 emails for them now and 3 names they trade by. I will not post their emails or address publicly because, despite what happened, I think that is wrong. I had emailed several kind and polite inquiries prior to no response and it is unfortunate it took legal threats to see a resolution. I was informed by several people they had trade offers open for the same pins as myself. As always, exercise extreme caution in online pin trading and know what legal measures you can pursue should necessary :)

Thank you everyone for your support!

If you want to PM me because you have a bad trade open with them and would like some assistance with their aliases, please do.

hmmmmm still on my radar, thanks. Sadly the list grows and many people use multiple names and ID's on here, ebay and FB so trader beware and I think calling people out especially when they have many complaints is needed.

The offered to trade me the Beauty and The Beast BT for my Sleeping Beauty BT. When I asked for pictures of the pin, the cropped a friends photos and sent it to me. Good luck.

Hmm well I just got an email from them saying they "tracked down" my pins and they are sending me my pins back on Monday. Yay! I guess all of us getting together and blasting them helped. The power of pin traders! :)

Yay! I'm glad for you! Yes I think at some point it isn't worth the hassle of dealing with so many people dogging you and is easier to just send out what you owe. Glad we were all able to ban together on this and get resolutions going :)

I also am having a problem with this person. A trade was set up on 9/4 for them to send us the first Frozen marquee and the UK Kevin. They received our pins on 9/8. I sent them numerous messages about tracking information and the first time they said "I'm so busy I'm sorry I'll send it tomorrow", then a week later after asking again they said they lost our address. Now today we get this message: "Hello I was scammed out of the frozen marquee would you accept payment for the pins I would really like to keep them. Let me know what you think." When I asked why she would offer to trade a pin she didn't have and then wait almost two weeks to tell me she responded "I am sorry I never said I didn't have the pins but I have been trying to figure out if they are fake or not which they appear to be so I just wanted to be sure that they were real before sending them to you. I will send your pins back."

I don't believe her story, but at this point I just want my pins back and to move on.

Yeah she used that same "I was scammed" story on me as well
