Hi everyone! I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself! I'm a fan girl of many things, including Disney! I love going to the parks! I grew up going to Disneyland and have made a few trips to Disney World since moving to the East Coast. I collected pins as a kid, and I'm now getting back into it as an adult. I'm here to learn and hopefully expand my collection. I'm excited about the possibility of pin trading without needing to physically be in the parks.

I tend to collect a bit of everything, Star Wars, Marvel, Princesses, villains (especially Maleficent), hidden mickeys, I'm trying to get the bubble wands and the Mickey ear pins (I just think they are so cute!!!). I've also started collecting some Loungefly pins via their mystery boxes and have gotten some dups, so I'm hoping this can be a place I can trade them eventually. I've been loving whatnot and all the different pin shows on there as well. I definitely spend too much money there! And during my last trip to Orlando, I had a chance to go to PinHQ and see all their stuff, and I fell in love! I bought a few of their bags to help me organize and display my growing collection!

Anyway, excited to be here! Thanks for having me!

Hi, thanks for introducing yourself! Whatnot is so great, and so addicting, I have twice had to ban myself from it cause I blew past my pin budget way too quickly. And I'm jealous that you got to go to PinHQ! I have some of their products but would love to visit the store someday. Do you use any of the pin database websites, like Pin & Pop or PinPics?

Oh man i know! I think I need to take a break from what not cause its getting out of control! And I loved the PinHQ store! I could have spent a whole day there! and a lot of money! and that's actually been something I've been trying to figure out, which is how to keep better track of my pins. I was thinking of posting here to ask people what they use. Have you used Pin & pop or PinPics? How do you keep track of your collection and what would you recommend?

I use both! They each have their own strengths, and they both facilitate online trading in different formats.

Like @Sithathoriunet I use both, but I will say I feel PinPics is much better at just checklist cataloguing what you have in your collection, and Pin&Pop is better for price tracking/condition/details when you know what you've got already - both at the free level. If you pay to upgrade on either or both sites then there's all sorts of other factors. I personally believe PinPics database for pins and uniformity/descriptions is better/more complete, but they've also been around longer.
