I thought DSF posted to their twitter and facebook when they had a new PTD? How did everyone find out about the Lilo pin aside from being there? Just curious.

They sometimes do, but not always. They never posted about the Rapunzel one because that was pretty much sold out in seconds while the Jessica one that just sold out was never posted either. IDK why. However, people find out generally by being there as soon as a new one happens to go on sale or by looking at Ebay ^_^ It really is just timing and I wouldn't say there is a secret to knowing when

I thought living close to the DSF gave me an advantage but the fact that i've already missed two since Stitch (jessica & lilo) is baffling to me. Not to mention, I can't even eat that much ice cream! If there is ever an OSWALD PTD, I'll make sure I get at least two.
 

Oh, living by DSF is definitely an advantage. However, you have to make sure you stay around the forums because generally we'll update here about a new PTD before Facebook, Twitter, and most other places. The only place that has it before we do usually is Ebay Once you see it updated here though you can definitely go grab one!
 

What do you mean you missed Lilo? Is she gone already?
 
My mistake. Lilo is still there, but the girl i spoke with had no idea they even had Jessica. Perhaps I can sneak there after work and grab a care-taker for stitch.
 
So many in such a short period of time. Waaaaaaaa!!!!! I missed so many. I am trying to collect these. I wish I knew someone who lives near the Soda Fountain.

I think only one person at the DSF posts to the Facebook page. If it's her day off when the pin comes out, it won't get posted there (especially if it releases and sells while she's not there)...


Remember, you don't _have_ to get the ice cream... I never do (I know better ), I just buy the pins...
 
I want a Wall-E PTD. But instead of Wall-E holding the boot, he's holding an ice cream cone. I bet it would be a 20 second photoshop job to make it. Also, you could do Eve with a glowing ice cream cone in her belly instead of the plant. Hehe. Still, I say we start lobbying for Wreck-It Ralph pins sooner than later! We need to keep dropping hints to Patty when we all go there to pay.
 
Just called DSF. They are still on Lilo. When I asked how many were left, the person said she didn't know. BTW, I don't think it was one of the CM's I normally talk to.
 

You should design pins for Disney Love this idea... and yep, I called too and they said it's still Lilo
 
When I was reading this, I completely skipped the "cone" part, so I was imagining the ice cream in the boot. :lol:
