Movie doesn't come out till 2nd December in the UK, so I think we'll need to wait a little longer on this side of the pond for the merch. I really am looking forwarding to getting the classic doll at least - I'm interested in the box being able to be folded into a boat for her!
 
Should the merch actually drop tonight (though I don't expect it to be everything), I wonder what we will see besides the classic and toddler dolls? There is supposed to be quite a bit of new stuff.
 
If the Moana doll's release looks like the other releases expect the merch to sell out Quick. They Will release more but I am starting to see a pattern. I hope I am so wrong.
 
I personally LOVE what I am seeing. I dunno if I will actually buy any of it right now, but I love the merch so far. I'm really surprised that they already have the lithographs and pin set online though. I didn't expect to see those until closer to the films release. This extra early release probably means Disney is more prepared for restocks should this film become another Frozen (which I doubt but a new Disney Princess film is usually guaranteed to be successful regardless).
 
I saw in store pictures on tumblr of a mug that wasn't added online, so there was a bit more released today. I love most everything they added online though (that litho set is gorgeous!!!). Probably going to end up buying quite a bit when I next get to a store.

What do you guys think about the toddler doll having sand on her feet? I think it's adorable, but I'm still not sold on her face. That may be one item I wait until I see in person to decide if I'm going to buy or not.

I personally love the sand on her feet! Its such a cute detail that you normally don't see on the toddler dolls. That being said, I could see it coming off easily and being a problem for people who debox these dolls.

Also, was the mug you seen from tumblr this mug? Because I LOVE it and its not online yet. The picture comes from a post someone made in my Facebook group.

There is merch on the UK Disney Store site! Not as much as on the US, but we have the classic and animators doll, and the soft doll and figure set.

I had no idea that the Moana classic doll's clothing and box were made out of recycled materials! I think that's awesome! It's honestly made me wanna get the doll now, especially after watching the new trailer again.

I seen this earlier! I REALLY love the set, and I am tempted to buy it over the classic doll. She even comes with a replica of her necklace, which I LOVE.

Also, considering that she is in a different more fancier outfit here, I think its safe to say that this is the outfit she will be in for the 17" doll.
 
Hmm... Not a fan of the song unfortunately. It scream modern pop rather than timeless classic. :(

But hey! That will probably be the 17" LE doll dress!

Love the look of the classic doll and the singing doll. Like lordofanime said I don't like the song much very Hannah Montana pop like. Will have to wait and hear the full thing in the movie which I can't wait for. I am also looking forward to the LE doll coming out if that does happen. I assume still no word on the LE 17" Moana
 
Thank you Disney. Native bodies and tattoos are not for others decoration. Wearing a costume of skin even fake. Reminds many of us, when our people were killed for our bodies. As ways of genocide.
 
It's just too bad that every time Disney attempts diversity people give them flak. Yet they release a movie with 2 white princesses and it's a global phenomenon. I hope they don't give up on inclusion in favor of the masses :(
