They are all sold out of podms as of yesterday afternoon. they do however have the fantasyland pins on sale...

That kind of makes me angry, after wasting an entire day of my vacation earlier this month, standing on line for those pins. They swore up and down that those pins would never ever be available ever again, or sold anywhere else after the pin release event. SIGH, guess mine aren't so special after all. Glad if you needed them though :)

I have to agree! We took valued HOURS of our drive uo to VA for me to wait in line for those pins...had I known I could just go up at my leisure now to get some.....that makes me angry too!

Apparently they found a few podms scattered across the parks and brought them all to DTD WDW for sale. From what the pin manager at DTD told me, he said they were not scratched and in good condition. They also have a bunch of other pins that supposedly "sold out" tonight too including queen of hearts 13 and the fantasyland mystery pins.

I wouldn't be too angry about it. You still got your pins :) Sometimes returns are made, or a small bag of pins is misplaced, or delayed in shipment, etc. Or the pins(IE the Fantasyland pins) just didn't sell out as fast as they had anticipated.

Argh. I was just there, but I didn't see ANY of this stuff! I don't know if it was already gone, or not there yet, or a combination of the two. May hop over there this weekend and see what I can find.

Funny because I asked every pin store manager at each park, including DTD if they had any PODM when I was there x)

Actually, I am not sure if any of you guys remember...but my FIRST podm I bought at DTD at WDW about 3 and a half weeks after the Mulan release and they were behind a register just sitting there waiting to be bought. Not sure where they came from....and I don't care where they came from! But ever since then, EVERY TIME I go there I ask if they have any PODM returns :) I have never gotten any more since that way....but it's worth a shot. And sadly, oh so sadly enough a lot of the cast members look at me like they have NO idea what I am talking about when I ask if they have any "Piece of disney movies" pins. (Picture that clueless, head tilt, eye brow squished look)

I get that look every time I ask for a pin that was released THAT DAY at Disneyland. So I take out my print out (no smart phone) to show them the color picture, which they hand around and figure out what pin it is, before they find it. LOL

Did Disney's policy on returned limited edition/release pins changed? When I tried returning a limited edition pin a month ago, they said they only refund you cash (with receipt) for open edition pins and exchange (without receipt), but they will not take back any LE pins (due to time sensitivity)...

At DLR, you can return any type of pin within 30-days as long as you have the receipt (they haven't taken w/o a receipt in about 1 - 1.5 years)

I just got a Nexus 7. It's small enough to easily fit into my purse, so I've made a spreadsheet with new release pins that I want. I stick a picture in there, along with what it's called, the SKU, release date, and edition size. It's a lot easier than trying to describe them and having the people just stare at me.

I tried returning 2 steamboat willie pins that were within 30 days from time of purchase and paid for them with cash at pin traders at wdw and was denied a refund by the manager. My very first podm was Tangled that I purchased at pin traders at wdw and the release of the pin was a week prior. You never know what they will sell there... I am heading to pin traders this weekend so hopefully they will have something surprisingly good behind the counters.

We are going back this Weekend as well & will check DTD Pin Traders for pins. The BATB one I bought is for Trade for Tigger pins. HAPPY NEW YEAR !!! TTFN! Sue
