Piece of disney movies - disney-pixar toy story - $24.95
And a vote for a Lilo & Stitch!

Wow . . . . quite surprised to see that they raised the price on these . . . . I mean seriously?? Is this necessary? and yes the price increase better mean ONLY good cells!!!!!! I understand that Disney is a business and as such is in it to make as much of a profit as they can but I am a little disappointed that they seem to be on a trend of raising prices by quite a significant amount. And not just with these pins but also with the completer pins and a few others. I just think they are starting to take it to far - they are going to start pushing people away . . . .

i agree 100% with everything you jut said.

Febuary pin is Finding nemo...Frind of mine is in WDW and there was some sort of DVC party/gathering and they had stuff on display.

Oh, the Aladdin one is nice! I'm not going to get it, but it looks good. I'm definitely going to be more selective in getting these pins in the 2012 series.

3 different Toy Story pins would be quite lame.
*facepalm* *clutching heart* WHAT! I'm so hurt... :p

Okay. I'm over it.

I also think the price increase STINKS! I remember 2 other series that had same fate: DLR Tink birthstone PoM 2007 & the DLR HM magazine PoM from last yr. Bah...greedy Disney, greedy! I'm not a "completist" so I may not buy any more!

This is the NEW IMPROVED Disney way. Raise the price, extend the shipping time and sell junky pins. Hope we all like it because we are stuck with it. If you really want to do something about it, post a complaint on Facebook. Write a letter to the Board of Directors and to the staff of Disney Corp. There are people in charge and if enough people complain, they will do something about it. We have the power, we just have to use it.

I completely agree. When I saw the new price, once I realised that I wasn't misreading it ... well, maybe the higher price might be because it's more difficult to handle to digital film? But so far, we've only seen the pricing on one POMH for 2012 ... and that's Toy Story. Is it possible that all of the POMH pins with digital film will be at the higher price and the conventional film will stay at the old price? But in any case, regardless of the price, I think Disney should make an effort to ensure that EVERY pin has a 'good' cel on it - especially if ALL of the POMH pins are going to sell for $24.95.

I'm so sad the price has raised... :( Aladdin's going to be even harder to get this time around D:

Hopefully it's released sometime during next semester. I don't want to miss school for it :X

wow...nice pin...i cant wait.. lol i thought it would have gone up even more... many ppl treat them like gold. as another memebr said... ppl are going to buy them...no matter the price.. good luck in 2012.. hope the movies are good... if there is a list yet...lets get a copy up on here...thank you

I can "understand" (=I can't) the price hike, if there are less copies of which to cut the scenes. But honestly, even if TS is a computer animation, didn't they make practically the same amount of celluloid prints as they would've of "normal" movies? I would like to know when they stop (have stopped?) making traditional prints of digitally produced movies. Because once they're done with old fashioned film prints there's no collector value in pins made from digital prints, because you'll never run out of them. So the price should be going down, not up.

Totally agree on the "good cell" issue.
