Oof, I've just got done reading this thread.


I know everyone is upset that they haven't gotten their pins yet, but at the same time we could be a little more civil about it. Just, why?




At least we have the Pinopolis ambassador speaking with us and trying to resolve some of our issues. So rather than trying to jump down someone's throat or contact the BBB maybe you should try requesting a refund.

Just my oPINion (see what I did there), I've been waiting for pins from Pinopolis for a while too. I know that being pointlessly rude isn't going to further any situation. We all did take a risk buying these pins, as we all knew that ACME is a slightly newer company and their partnership with Disney was also new. Which explains why it took so long to actually start manufacturing pins, because Disney likes taking their sweet time approving artwork.

@disneykins Thank you for actually taking the time to write a well written response, and thinking things through logically.

Unfortunately, as is the case with these messages, you cannot see or hear me, so you miss vital parts of communication such as tone, and you can only guess at intent.
I have a great relationship with my local Pin Master, and they, being two people, are never more informed than really anybody else. I do not wish ill for anyone. I’m not vindictive. The only thing I wish for at this point is my money back. I’ve been in repetitive email communication all year and now in communication here.
I still love the pins. My friends had to persuade me HARD not to go on Saturday. I’ve even bought/traded other people for some of the pins I’m still waiting for. I’m really not trying to be mean here, just honest.

An Introduction to the DPF Infraction System

Please do not "poke the bear" with unnecessary comments for those of you who do not have first hand experience (orders) with Pinopolis/ACME pins. We are not here to "beat the dead horse" with gripes/issues about PinPics from a few years ago.

The primary purpose of this thread is for @Pinopolis Ambassador to update our members with the status of their orders. These are for the members who do not use Facebook, IG, or Twitter to read the updates there.

The secondary purpose of this thread is to talk about any upcoming pins, including events. It is not to sell pins or anything like that.

Note: I am patiently waiting for the Taste of Royalty pins that I ordered back in October 2017. My sister is like, weren't they ordered six-plus months ago? I said yes. But I still wait. That is the last of the orders I have with ACME.
 
I just checked Facebook and there are two important updates that I haven't seen here. I will copy and paste them in two posts.

Shipping update:
"Hello all, updates...

Classics series #1 has shipped

Lands le100 pins are scheduled to be to us this week.

Princess profiles and taste of royalty will be here before Aug 14

Classic series 2 will follow those.

The dreamer pins are on hold per disney and we will be meeting to discuss what will happen. They are not approving them yet.

Once these are all out we will not do any more presales.

All pins on the website are in hand. We are behind on shipping, however, we have hired 2 new employees to help with shipping.

An update about the blind bag puzzle... it's not a puzzle!

"Pinopolis Pin Games So I got a little more info.... I have updated the post. It is not a puzzle! It is a set of the characters in the artwork. 20 pins in all. So you do not have to have the le50 pin unless you want to be a completist! the pins will be blind bags for $10 each and are a part of our HotArt Trading program. They will be available for purchase at the Orlando event and there is no limit!

The artwork is available for sale through the Shanghai Disney Store. Retail cost is $900. I for one would not likely purchase this amazing piece of art to stick pins in it.... HAHAHA

Sorry. I was not trying to re hash the past or to pick on anyone. I even made it clear that I think these post are good because it is like rating a trade. Those of us that have not bought from them could be reading to learn how things work. So with that said, good job to y'all that are posting about your experience and giving feedback. As I have said before I hope everyone get the pins they have been waiting on.

I got my pins at cost yesterday. I wasn’t very satisfied with their packaging for shipping. Both of my pins were individual baggies, but were then in another baggie together, without any bubble wrap around them. They were in a bubble mailer, but nothing to protect the pins from each other inside. Also they were in a very large envelope for how small the pins are! Luckily nothing was damaged.
@Pinopolis Ambassador, some shipping advice to pass on: Use smaller envelopes (more adequate to the order size) and pins individually bubble wrapped, even if it takes extra time to ship.

Is it a possibility for you to post actual pictures of the pins for sale?
(The Ariel/Eric golden magic boat scene pin was a bit of a disappointment with the look of the pin. Thus it would be wonderful to have a look at the artwork ahead of time for these new pins.)

Anything you can do is appreciated.

I know there have been several delays and problems. Now that the big pin event is over, do you have any updates on the outstanding orders?

Is there a list of what has been released from the presales? I got two pins from the cutout series but am missing others. I saw that y'all were mailing some of the Profile pins prior to the event and had mentioned in a post on August 1 that the taste of Royalty would be here by August 14.

I had questions about the following pins:

Taste of Royalty- Tiana
Taste of Royalty- Rapunzel
Taste of Royalty- Mulan
Princess Dreamers - Rapunzel
Princess Dreamers - Ariel
Princess Profile - Ariel
Princess Profile- Belle
Princess Profile- Rapunzel
Cutout - Chip and Mrs.Potts
Classics Cutouts - 2nd series (several)

Thank you for any updates and information. I want to stay up to date with what has been sent as I am waiting on pins from several orders.
 
Hello. Yes we are back from Florida. We are currently shipping all princess profiles.

The taste of royalty pins were supposed to be in the boxes for Florida but were not. They now say Sept 10th. The classic cutout series 2 are on hold and we will be contacting all those who ordered to discuss the future of this series. The same for the dreamers.

The lands first 4 pins are coming with the Taste of royalty pins.

This will catch us up on all presales.

Our goal is to have all pins shipped or refunds/holds completed by October 1st. That is our HARD deadline.
