Pinopolis/ACME/HotArt Pin Updates....basically messages from them
I received this email too. Luckily the only pin I'm missing is the Ariel on the Rocks (for a friend) which will be shipped

After re-reading here, it seems like the "less popular" ones are the pins they are having "production problems" with?? Just an observation

I ordered the Scar Classic Cutout over a year ago. Glad they are getting out of the Pin sale business for a bit. With they would put there effort and funds into the PinPics database instead.

I responded to the email as I had ordered the pin of Mrs. Potts kissing Chip. (It was such a cute design!) I applied my credit and ordered the Kingdom Castles Set II. Did anyone else order anything? I'm just curious to know when anyone receives their pin or pins.

I have not heard anything. I decided to just get my money back. It's now February... Here's hopin' the remaining pins actually ship this month, but I am not going to hold my breath... Promises made at this point mean nothing.

I ordered a set too, have you heard anything or received yours yet?

Important Announcement From HotArt

February 13, 2019

Dear Valued Pinopolis Pin Game Customers,
As you already know, the Pinopolis Pin Game online store has been closed, as HotArt is no longer distributing pins through Pinopolis. HotArt LE 100, LE 300 and LE 500 pins will again, be a subscription service. In the past, the subscription service was the easiest and best way to distribute pins. Subscribers were happy and we had fewer challenges. We only ended it due to challenges with approval and production, now that those issues have been rectified HotArt believes the subscription service is the best way to serve customers. Be on the lookout for campaigns about the HotArt subscription in the next week or two.

The LE 200 HotArt Trading Pins will continue to be distributed through the wholesale retailers. There are many exciting styles in the pipeline this year! Be on the lookout!

Also, HotArt is excited to report that later this year we will be releasing pins under the Artland Disney license! HotArt will continue to release pins under the ACME license, but working with Artland will allow us access to more licensed Disney art! This means you will start seeing Coco, Big Hero 6, Moana, Wreck-It- Ralph and more!

We sure do appreciate you! We know there has been a lot of change and we thank you for your support and loyal patronage!

Kindest Regards,

HotArt and Pinopolis

So I decided to re-open this thread since there seems to be news about Pinopolis coming from them via email...this way, we can have one thread focused on them...for better or worse....

Interesting. At least the jumbo pins were on hand (sometimes at events) and people bought them 1st hand or second hand. The small LE 200 are at least with wholesalers you can buy when they get (although quality seems to have gone down - those previews vs actuals - not great IMO). But subscriptions....ugh. Better be charged ONLY when mailed out and not a second before.
