Every so often (I don't know exactly how often it is) PinPics adjusts it trades/wants on their pins to reflect those that are no longer active on the site! Some pins REALLY dropped! I am always amazed when it happens. You would think I would be use to it by now but it amazes me every time! One day a pin is wanted by over 250 and the next around 140. WOW!

If the account has had no activity in six months they place it on the inactive list. To reactivate, all the person has to do is log in. It's a good way to keep the numbers accurate.

I didn't know that they did this, and now that I do know that they do....I am glad! I ever thought about the people that click on wanting something, and then 6 months later, arn't even in to pin trading. It does help to keep things accurate!

Omgosh; it's so funny you should say this. I recently got some new LE100 traders that had over 200 people wanting; and now it says just about 100. I was wondering what happened. :/

Yeah I have a few that were really sought after, now not so much. It hurts me because I have so few pins that people really want so when I see some of the pins that were once hot are now not hurts my chances of trading for the higher end things I want.

Jessica - I see you are using tapatalk. I have a new tablet and can't figure out how to reply to a post using tapatalk - any ideas?.

It works great on my phone, but I have hit every button I can think of on the tablet and nada. I'm afraid the phone one won't work on the tablet.

On the one hand, it makes some of those pins you thought were "heavy wants" reduce in trade value...

But on the bright side, now you're not sending TR's to inactive accounts or traders who gave up.

I see it bigger for the opposite. Pins that had 3 or 4 trading and 100+ wanting may only have 80 wanting now, but those trading may have dropped to 1 or 2. So the trade value may go up if the number trading dropped heavily. Expecially for those older rare ones with single digit people trading them.

Then again, I'm sure the numbers that changed the most are those wanting. Hundreds can want but have no traders. People trading an older pin are more likely to be active.

I didnt know that they did this, but i think it is great. Now you wont be sending trade requests to inactive members and the numbers stay some what accurate which reflects the ever changing value of the pin.
