I know - I know - The only reason that I saw this sale thread is because of the issues (major) others on DPF are having with this member..

But, my hope is that they will send all the pins that have been purchased so far..

AND if everyone gets their pins as promised..

I would like to find out about the following item..

holy_grail - If you still have the Pin 26382: Disney Gallery - Night on Bald Mountain Framed Set (8 Pins) for sale for $150 plus $14.95 shipping, I would like to buy it..

It is posted on this thread as: Bald Mountain LE ARTIST PROOF 8 pin Frame set $150 (shipping 14.95)

i would again advise everyone not to send paypal payments as a "gift", and this is only one of the reasons why. you have no protection for anything if you do -even if the pin gets lost in the mail. if anyone ever request that payment be made as a gift and not as payment for goods sold, i would just say "NO". The small fee that is charged to the seller is not worth the buyer being unprotected...imho

I was just thinking this same thing the other day, while it saves you a buck or two, you should just pay it so that you're both protected, unless you know the person well enough that you feel you can resolve it outside of paypal.

There is also a seller on the bay that goes by the name holy grail. Don't know if it's the same person or not, but that seller is very slow to send the merchandise.

I don't think that this applies 100% of the time.. This would more likely be true for someone with a zero or low feedback score - I have to say that I have gifted and been gifted on paypal for pins through DPF and it has worked out just fine.

The situation here is just terrible - should ppl have been more cautious? Yes. But at this point that is hind sight. I just hope that there is something that can be done to make this right. :(
