It's wonderful they learned from last year, releasing the catalog three days instead of two hours before ticket sales started.

*Cries at how beautiful all the Inside Out pins are*

*Cries because she knows she can't afford to go in person and will have to live vicariously through everyone who is going*

*Cries because they used the one Bing Bong quote that always makes her cry during the movie*

Sooooo, how do sponsors work? Because considering this catalogue, I'm not sure I'd go just for these pins. But I am here, and with an Ap, so I feel like I'm wasting the opportunity XD

I'm detecting quite a bit of ambivalence to this year's pins .
Nothing I actively collect and the mystery sets don't appeal to me personally . I quite like a few of the from the vault series but that's it and their relatively high edition size means they shouldn't be too hard to get .
I can see quite a few sticking around for general release .

Yeah. It's been years since I've purchased any real amount of pins. They just keep doing themes that don't have characters I collect. If I could change 2 things to the pin event (out of a LONG list of needed improvements), it would be to A.) Feature all the popular characters in pins, no matter what the theme and B.) Make the pins more like DS.com or Disney Auctions pins (large, with beautiful art and no writing), rather than park-style pins.

If they made those changes, I would be in serious financial distress. :)

That said, I'm sure all the Pixar fans are thrilled. While I love the Pixar movies, I don't collect for them, so it's another dead year for me.

If you don't collect Pixar then there isn't anything to get too excited about. The Pixar collectors should be looking forward to these, though!

I remember someone posting on here that they should make a John Ratzenberger pin set! I think Disney spies on DPF! :suspect:

I think the "From the Vault" pins are gorgeous!

I love seeing the new shinies, even if I don't collect Pixar. That mystery set is hilarious! What a cute idea. I like the Pizza Planet truck set too. And I love that Mor'du pin. (Must... resist... urge... to think about... collecting... Brave pins...)

The Wall-E/Brave/Inside Out From the vault pins, the Edna/Bing Bong quote pins and the Lava short pins are really the only ones that made me be "I want those!"
Anyone going or knows someone that is going who does not opt for these pins, let me know as I'll gladly purchase those ones!

I need need need the Monster’s Jumbo pin with Boo!

I will pay in advance the sales price+shipping+thankyou$ (tell me how much is reasonable).

Please?!

And I love pretty much all of the pins, by looks, but only need this ONE.

Found Speezard! Love him.

As a Pixar fan and collector I really love this catalog. I may be one of the few or only person who like words on their pins so I don't mind the Quotes or Villains set. I love Al's Toy Barn and Mor'du. I'm having a difficult time on what not to buy.

I agree with a lot of you that the pin sizes are a little small for their price.

Did anybody notice the new names for the designers? I haven't seen those names around. Not sure if they are new or I just didn't notice before.

Meh. I suppose Pixar isn't my favorite flavor of Disney. There's only two pins (the round Remy and Brave ones, and that's in order of preference) that I enjoy but I don't think they're enough to justify an extra trip up there. I'm a little dissapointed to be honest since I was getting excited for a big pin event.

short story long, I'll be passing unless someone is willing to do reasonable pickups.

I'm a Pixar collector and there are so many cool pins! I love the Brave pins, Waternoose, the jumbo Monsters, inc pin, and the Bing Bong pins! They're just so pricey though.....

Well, there aren't any Tigger or Cinderella pins. The Event is always FUN, though.

Would love to find someone who would Sponsor me OR would be willing to "sell" control of my RSP for less money.

Anyone interested can PM me here. TTFN, :tigger: Sue

I'm looking for a sponsor too if anyone is interested as I will be going with my wife and we don't need two sets of everything. PM me if interested.
