PODM Steamboat Willie release details
To nwojeffd i didnt even go so i guess it would be a little hard to sell them. And yes at age 7 if she id old enough to say i want it then she can camp out for it. Doesnt look like she been hurt by it she had a 4.5 gpa in school and a successful acting career
Diego, I changed my mind because I couldn't sleep. I saw quite a few people, including some from the boards, who got a wristband for the park, did magic mornings, got their two pins and then came back out and got another wristband =\. Anyway I got my two pins, one with Mickey and Minnie and the other with Mickey, Minnie and the goat
It's nice to see that after 12+ years of Disney pin trading, nothing has changed. Nothing. Complain, complain, complain, this coast has it better, that coast has it better, sharks, sharks, sharks, greedy people, not fair, ect..it's all listed in this thead.
People, get over it. Just have fun. Trade for what you can trade for, buy what you can buy and enjoy it. It's not going to change.
Complaining about it doesn't help. Try being constructive and positive for once.
I'm in need of two if anyone has them for trade! Or willing to sell them for retail price.
I know what your saying. Can the non-newbies remember these releases for example - the same but a different time? The lines, the holding a place for a friend(s), the early morning line ups and the early morning phone calls to DisneyShopping.com for the LE 100 releases. The chats on Dizpins sound about the same things about the same topics. The only thing that has changed is the retail price and the LE of the pins that Disney is making bank on.

Once the fun is over, it is on to the next series of releases. 2013 is just around the corner, what will Disney have everyone in a craze over next?
I have to say this was the most stress-free PODM release in a while. Only a few people camped out over night, just about everyone got a wristband, the scenes were great, and there were pins available up until around 2 (last I checked). I hope they keep this system for the rest of the year!
I got 12 of these POMH. I was very happy with the release and was able to buy them at 11 with a wristband and got more after 1pm. I had 2 family members with me that supported me by buying them for me (of course, I paid them back) but it was awesome! I got alot of Mickey at the wheel and got some of Pete with Mickey
Did they start selling in Cali yet? I have seen an Ebay listing with a specific scene from Signal Hill, Ca listed at 7:48 am asking $189 obo.
If you need to search for it on Ebay it has a typo in it and it is spelled peice instead of piece.
Am I wrong in thinking maybe some CMs sell on Ebay (or their family members although it is against Disney rules) or scalpers get jiggy with CMs ?
*Typo got corrected ... ha ha ... wonder if the seller is lurking on our forum ??
That seller does not work for Disney I am 100% positive of that but in the end it is that person's and they can sell it or keep it if they want to but in the end it it their pin and they can sell it for whatever price they wish.
Maybe my point was not clear: The posting on Ebay appeared at 7:48 am PST. And the picture was not a generic picture, but of the actual pin as stated in the listing.
That is about 1 hr before public sales started. That is what I found odd.
