I may resort to "stamps/postage" online...
Postal Sticker shock today. Delivery confirmation has gone up 5 cents (80-85). The first three ounces of first class parcel is now 1.95 (up from 1.71) Thus a 29 cent increase if you use delivery confirmation...boooooo:rant:

I use Stamps.com. Yes, there is a $16 per month fee, but if you sign up for some of the promos, you get free postage over the first few months. I shipped a 4 oz pin package on Monday via Stamps for $1.81 and that had delivery confirmation included!

I think you should be able to use Paypal to ship for less. I believe the DC should be free now? But I don't know for sure.

It's definitely less. I was pleasantly surprised when my labels I printed online through PayPal only came to $1.64 for 3 ounces and less (dc is automatically included). They use to come to $1.75 each. Maybe they are trying to encourage printing labels out online?

Paypal is SUPER easy... :) Probably THE BEST information I found out there... :) Message me if you would like the details...

i will look into the paypal thing...and i have been trying to make multiple trades with folks, may as well- same shipping....BUT for me all in all, it still doesnt seem to bad especially if your used to getting pins via ebay, where most sellers charge $3 for ONE PIN and than additonal--which i think is crap, especially when you win over 12 pins or so.....anyway i will check out that link.

Sellers on ebay are paying fees to ebay for shipping too! Instead of taking out the FVF for the winning bid, eBay takes it out of the total price.

I may try PP myself, but I've been using the USPS shipping assistant and paying 19-cents for DC.

No wonder USPS SA wanted to update the program on Sunday!

I just sold some items on ebay (non-pin) and was COMPLETELY shocked that I had to pay fees on the shipping cost too. I couldn't figure out why so many were moving to free shipping lol. I see why now.

Yeah, it's so silly that ebay is charging fees on shipping too now- I think they only targeted the shipping charges because of sellers who would sell something for a penny and overcharge on shipping so they could avoid fees. So now everyone has to accept the consequences. It's like in school when those few obnoxious kids made the whole class stay in five minutes for recess.

I believe PayPal and Stamps.com would be the same USPS rates, minus the $16 monthly fee. The key is you have to leave money in PayPal to use their shipping tool, which some people are less inclined to do than others.

You don't have to actually leave money in Pay Pal to use the postage there. They take the price out of your bank account.
