Hi guys,
I just wanted to give you guys the heads up. I called earlier guest services and after speaking to several managers, one called me back this evening saying they had authorization to sell me the boxes now.
They allowed me to buy as many as I wanted but I only had money to do 5 boxes.

They promised me, it was not a mistake, they can't ship until release date but they said I am getting them.

I also was told about the Pixar Mistery boxes that they have hundreds sitting in warehouse and stores at DLR and WDW. Due to their popularity they are only letting them out a few at a time, unannounced and undisclosed locations.

I am sure if you guys call you should be able to order the boxes yourselves.

Also, Shipping from DLR to Florida was $7 for $5 boxes.

Just watching out for you guys, good luck getting them.

Sure...That's why 30 people know where and when the next pixar boxes are coming out. (Directed at said manager, not you Mahrii!)

Good to know they have a lot, wish DLR was equal with WDW and would allow more than 2 per person. For goodness sake at least do 5 boxes so you can get 10 pins. Then trade for what you need.

i was told a 5 box limit. Max 10% passholder discount (only 20% in person in CA), 25.00 shipping. came to 121.95 for 5 boxes for me.

A bit pricier than in person on Thursday, but hey, the reduction in stress is worth $35 right?

hopefully I get a full set.
 
Crud, see they told me i could order as many as I wanted earlier, my original order was for 6, and shipping and six boxes total they gave me was $136.78 9.58 for shipping included.

My order for 5boxes came to $114.73 including florida tax and $7 shipping.
 
Wow, and my five came to $114 and thats with no Pass discount as my pass is not premium.

 
Ok, called back and got clarification. They gave me a break on shipping because I had such a run around. They said it depends on the order amount, and that shipping is as follows:

up to $50 is $7
50-75 is $14
75-100 is $25

$100-150 is $30

After they sold me the manager said until further notice, maximum 5 boxes per day, per person.

I wish I had enough money to buy more, but like I said, medical bills got me broke. I would have loved to have placed a large order and helped others here.

Perhaps, in the future we could combine our orders and see if we can save on shipping.
 
Hopefully these are like the family portraits reveal/conceal and the hype gets killed and then they sit on shelves for a while. There's only one chaser so far and it's LR so I think the only rush now is for Rapunzel, Merida, Ariel, and Belle.
 


I got my 20% but I had to photocopy my premium pass to their email. (Make sure you say "Premium pass" not "Annual pass" apparently that is differnet to them? Apparently because all premium passes are annual passes but not all annual passes are premium they infer that to me if you say annual pass you don't mean premium which asinine.)

I really hope Disney reads threads like this to learn how inconsistant they are! One person is told only 10% on phone, another gets 20%. Mutliple can buy them but then some people are told not until tomorrow. Also, the whole, shipping by total cost is so dumb. It should cost more to ship a monopoly game than 5 small boxes of pins yet since the pins are more they charge more. Sounds like unfair business practice to me.
 


I ordered 5 boxes. Got a small break on shipping ($14) because with the premier AP (20% off), it went down to $80 and $75 was the cut-off for $14 shipping (so the customer service person said, hey $25 is too much, I can put it down to the next lesser shipping level, but not as far down as Mahrii got). They wanted the front & back of the AP faxed to them at 407-828-2000 with the order confirmation # so I had sis take care of that. They require a physical mailing address because it's going to be shipped via UPS.

Was going to wait til Friday to see what else I can get (if I strike out at DLR tomorrow).

The salesperson told me that if I was shopping at WDW, I'd only get 10% discount with the premier, but since this was shipping out at DLR (even though merchandising services seems to be on the East Coast/Central time), I'd get my full 20%
