I'm going to Disneyland this fall, yay! I have never been to the Pin Trading Store in Downtown Disneyland. They sell pins there, not just trade, correct? And if yes, do they have clearance pins there?
 
No Such things. There's never a Clearence on pins. Only way to get them cheep Is to get a pass and use a discount from it. There's pins you can get for like 4-5 bucks but only if you spend a certain amount of money. And of course the bags are black so you can't really pick them out. And trading is at ALMOST every store. They normally just hide the peg board so just go into stores and ask/ and trade with castmembers lanyards.
 
Do they almost always have pins at the Character Warehouse? How big is their selection? I have not heard very good things about their other products..

Yes, pretty much all the time I think :) Not very big, I would just buy there for traders. :) Yes some of their products are a little imperfect or 'out of date', but it's only because it's a clearance store, I almost always find something fun in there whenever I go! ^_^
 
I thought the DTD Pin store was a lot bigger than it actually was. The pins are on displays outside so the sun hits them all day making some of the pins discolored. I prefer going to World of Disney in DTD...more of a selection I think.

Honestly, I don't feel there's enough selection there to even warrant a trip unless you're going anyway. It's been whittled down to almost NO pins anymore. The only clearance pins I see are at the cast member-only store, Company D, but that's not open to the public.
