I have just sent out the "victim" notices for September/August. Sorry for missing August.

Let the fun begin again!!!



I am now taking nominations for August's RAK victim. I will announce the winner around August 1st.

RAK= Random Act of Kindness.

This is a wonderful thing that we do each month for a member of our family here at DPF. Please send nominations in by August 1st .Then I announce to everybody that has signed up who the months "victim" is. Then you have around 2 weeks to gather whatever you want to send (art, tasty treats, cards or pins) to me so I can box everything up and send a large care package to the lucky person selected.

Please pm me the nominations, do not post them here!!!


If you have signed up for it in the past and no longer want to be involved please pm me a note.

If you want to join in and be part of this wonderful thing we do for members here please post below. You can participate any or every month you like. You will not be sent to pin prison if you don't participate.

I did and also received many from others. I am sorry I have not replied to your nominations, but between work being crazy, my physical therapy for my arm and now my dog has a growth on his neck that we have to take care of I have not had a lot of time to reply. I hate it when life gets in the way!!!
 
I would love to participate in this! It sounds like such a nice thing to do and I love putting together goodies! Do I need to do anything other than post here to become a RAK donator?
 
Life is that stuff which happens while you are making plans! It does often seem to get in the way! I hope all is well in your household, with you, your lovely wife, your spud, and your pup (and anyone else I may not be aware of). I know work gets insane at times. Myself, I feel like I have just come off a month long sprint, and I slept the whole weekend away! Fingers crossed you are okay and just being inactive due to time constraints like I was. Big :hug: for all your work coordinating the monthly RAK attack!

Hi Nick,

All is getting better. I just posted about what has happened to us this summer, you can go look for it if you are curious.

As for August's RAK, I am sorry everybody. It seems like August is just doomed to not be pulled off as far as RAK's go. The good news is that there will be a September RAK (it will be the "victim" who should have been August) and boy is this one a great choice.

I think I have added everybody who said they want to join in. If I missed you please pm me.
