Hoping someone might be able to help me....I mailed a pin on September 3rd via Paypal shipping as I always do, and the tracking shows that it was delivered to it's destination.

Today I got a message saying I never put the name or address and because of that they were sending the package back to me. Paypal however does not allow you to print an address that A - looks wrong or has nothing in the field and B - does not allow you to even pay for a label without a name.

I checked with my post office and they said if it says delivered, that's it and it's not being sent back. However I'm being told by the buyer that they are sending it back.

For the record, the address and name are 100% correct. I always check my labels before I send them out for errors as well against the address I'm given and it was word for word. Not to mention the address it shows as shipped through Paypal as well as the name is correct.

Has anyone had this happen before? I'm a little frustrated because of the way I was approached and the issue in general. I've never had packages go missing before, and it says it was delivered so I don't even think there's anything I can do on my end.

Any help is greatly appreciated - thank you!
 
Who did you get the message from? The post office? The buyer is telling you that they (the buyer) is sending the package back? Well, obviously that means they got it?
 
Liz, if its in your name, they have to give it to you. All you need is to take your ID. Didn't you have it mailed to your house? I haven't received my Enchanted pin yet, but my mail carrier stinks.
 
I sent the pin and you should get it soon and not at my school the now apparently need my name and box number other wise they have to send it back...
 
Wait, ok, you have a PO box number? So does my brother and I send him packages to his house number and he receives them. This makes no sense. Take the ID to your post office and pick it up if they refuse to deliver it.
 
The box number was included and shows in my Paypal "ship to address". For fear of there being issues, I always copy and paste addresses that are given to me so as something like this doesn't happen.

yes I did I had it sent to my mail box to my mail room at my school and I believe brittnay that she did but i called the mail room and they noted that they returned to sender because it didn't have my mailbox number

I think that's the issue here...there should be no issues but the package is supposedly being sent back to me. If I do get the package then I can just send it again. My post office is telling me though that once a package is actually tracked as being delivered, that's it and it won't be sent back.
 
well lets hope that they are wrong and that you are able to get it back... for both of our sakes
 

If Lizabell's school mail room writes on the envelope as "RETURN TO SENDER" or "NOT DELIVERABLE AS ADDRESSED" or something like that and then puts it in the mail / brings it to the post office, then yes, it should be able to be returned to you.
 
The same thing happened to me when shipping to Liz. But we caught it before it got sent out as I sent her a picture of the label. When I input Liz's address and added the box number Paypal shipping had automatically removed the box number from the address. I hadn't noticed the change but Liz did when she looked at the picture. So I wrote the box number in pen and it ended arriving correctly to her <3 hope this helps

oh thank you Jesus i have been stressing all night this has never happened to me before and i am just been crying and stressing out and i cant sleep like i am just a mess and i believe that's what they did

Ahhhh, so there was a mix up on the shipping label. Brittany, you should then receive it back and just have to add the mail room number and resend it. I'm happy that it seems to be somewhat resolved.
 
Thanks Laz! The mail room number did print out on the label though - I pulled up the actual label through Paypal (acted like I needed to reprint it) and it shows it's there. I've also shipped to Liz before and did things the same way and had no issues with Paypal cutting anything off.

Thanks Starry Hoping this is the case so I can just resend it!
