New merchandise releases at Disney Theme Parks are all in a day’s work, and it seems like Steven, Michelle and I are constantly discovering new products to divulge. We recently came across one (actually its two items for the price of one) that were just too good to keep to ourselves.
The newest arrival to Disney Theme Park Merchandise can’t be found in stores or even at DisneyParks.com/Store. It’s a brand-new merchandise opportunity that allows you to shop ‘til you drop and gives you something special (and collectible) to add Disney magic to your home.

Created especially for Disney Theme Park Merchandise, the Disney Parks Shopping Card and Deluxe Framed Castle Pin Set for $1,000 gives you two great items to enjoy. The Disney Parks Shopping Card allows you to shop for merchandise items at Disney Parks with ease! Use your $1,000 Disney Parks Shopping Card at Disney owned and operated merchandise locations at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts, and Disney Vacation Club Resorts located in the U.S.

The elegantly framed Deluxe Framed Castle Set features as many as 60 authentic Disney pins that have been framed and double matted to create a whimsical image of Cinderella Castle. The stylishly framed pin set measures 24â€H x 20â€W and is truly a stunning piece of art. The Deluxe Framed Castle Pin Set cannot be found in stores or online it’s only available with the purchase of the Disney Parks Shopping Card
.
There isn’t a better way to get started with your holiday shopping than with the Disney Parks Shopping Card and Deluxe Framed Castle Pin Set – you can shop for gifts to give and you’ll get a great framed piece of art to keep for yourself! There are a few terms and conditions that apply to the card, you can read all the terms and purchase the Disney Parks Shopping Card and Deluxe Framed Castle Pin Set by clicking here.

See, I might buy that before going to the Parks next year, since we spend about $1000 on souvenirs, food, pins, etc, so that would be a bonus. Kind of like that promo they had 2 years ago, buy a $1000 gift card for $695

I would definitely buy a $1000 gift card for $695 but I'm curious about this deal. It looks like pins they just had in the back room that go on the lanyards (or came off them). I wonder if there are scrappers in them

I'm curious if you will be able to use this gift card at DS.com, DSF and WDI....

Thank you, Dana for the info. I did look at terms & conditions & noticed that we can only get items at full price. To me that means we get $1000 worth of park merchandise that we could have bought for $800 w our passholder discount. Not for me

LOL, I wondered the same thing, a lot of the pins in the picture have been scrappered. It would be an interesting way to recycle them.

Unless you add up what you usually might spend (if it is $1000.00) then it is a little bonus. BUT, I am with most of you, they are now going to sell the open matting like you see in the picture (if they have not already started selling it - we saw the preview of the merchandise) and you will be able to make it yourself :) I agree, not sure I care for to many of the pins in the picture. I like the other promo offer better :) Purchasing the $1000.00 Disney Card for the lower price :)

Just thought this was interesting and I am sure some guest will be able to get a little extra bonus, without question, because you know you are going to spend it any ways :) I like that they are offering a incentive for the Disney Gift Card :)

Dana :)

That's ridiculous! What a ripoff!

And that castle frame seems so familiar....where oh where could something like that have come up......? Oh yeah....

If they do Mickey and Tink frames they will have a serious eye roll and shake of the head coming their way... :eyeroll:

LMFAO I was literally just about to comment about them ripping off your idea!!! I wouldn't be surprised if a Disney employee wasn't shown your awesome frames and "borrowed" the idea. Sadly, this framed set doesn't hold a candle to yours! The pins are bleh and cutoff, while yours are super rare and show the entire pin. Erudolf>Disney any day. Actually, you need to work for Disney to show them how its done!

If I remember correctly, they showed a Tink design at the Florida Project as well. I remember thinking about your designs and how similar these were to them.

If it wasn't a merchandise only gift card - but one that could be used at food carts, etc. - then I'd probably go for it. Since those food carts at DLR don't take AP discounts (and from what I hear, not many at WDW do either)....

If you intended to buy your park tickets from Disney direct, as well as pay for all your food and other things you'll buy on site over the course of a trip, having said that its not for me I'm more of a cautious kind who will be eating off site where its cheaper, and not buying that much (well I like to think I wont!)
