I'm considering either trading or selling this series and acquiring some more pins that I think I'd like better. Kinda bought it on a whim and figured at worst it'd be a decent trader. Still might keep it after watching Brave again :)

There's currently a bid on eBay for $150 for an auction ending in 2 days but aside from that it is hard to gauge the exact worth of this set right now. If we can reach some sort of fair agreement I'm more than willing to trade it away.

Things I like:

Anything to do with Disneyland in it's earlier years
Haunted Mansion / Pirates of the Caribbean
Beauty and the Beast
Up
Wall-E
Villains
Dog-related pins for my mom (not Pluto/Goofy)

I just got started pin trading and most of the fun for me is in the trading and collecting aspect of it, so while I certainly like LE stuff and really cool looking pins, I'm probably not looking to trade this all for one grail. A BatB PODM is an interesting proposition as part of a trade though. I don't even mind some of the older hidden mickeys as part of a trade (A-E Disneyland tickets, villains cauldron, etc) or any of the DCA construction fence.

I wish I had a more defined wants list but I'm new to this and don't really know what I want so I figured I'd see where this goes and then make a decision on what I want to do with this set.

You've got some neat pins. The only problem is most of them are ones my mom would want and not a ton of stuff I am super into. Doesn't mean we couldn't make a trade, but that's the one hold up. I'd also consider the Sword in the Stone PODM depending on the scene as well. I'm not really sure of the protocol of all of this and I have to run, but I figured that'll give a start to seeing if we can reach a trade.
 
There is not one pin on my trades list I wouldn't give up in a second for this set! That even includes the Brave DSF Marquee! I'd even trade multiple PODMs for it! And I'd offer the BatB PODM too, as long as I can get one for my collection.

Oh wow, a lot of interest here! echoharmony and kylejcummins I'll have to take a look at your trades lists in a bit. A quick look shows some things that interest me from both of you. Anyone who has PODMs they'd be willing to trade, the scenes are super helpful if you don't mind posting them.

The idea of doing an auction is kinda scary to me, but I think it could be kinda fun too and might be the way to go here. I'm not super, super picky on what I get and there are a lot of pins that look neat to me so maybe that would end up okay.

What is the usual protocol here? It's kinda weird negotiating with multiple people at once, but everyone who has expressed interest, please PM me so we can talk over what out of your collection, you'd be willing to trade for the set. I've also received interest via PM from people who haven't posted here so that is complicating things too.

I think as long as you tell all those you are negotiating with that you are fielding offers from others, it shouldn't be a problem.

I think I'm going to go through everyone who has expressed interests traders and see what I like out of there. Then let everyone know via PM and let them decide what kind of offer they want to make given that info. I'm going to try to make a decision sometime this week and in the interest of full disclosure there is a tiny chance I decide I really like this set and keep it, but seeing what some of you guys have for traders I don't think that's very likely.

I've responded to a few PMs already and if I haven't gotten to you yet I will try my hardest to do so by tomorrow night. If anyone else is interested and wants me to take a look at their traders either post here or send me a PM.

Looking through people's traders more I think my main interests at the moment are anything related to Disneyland nostalgia (especially attractions), Haunted Mansion, Beauty and the Beast, Nightmare Before Christmas, Up, and dogs for my mom.

Would you please take a look through our traders and see if there is anything there you might be interested in? We were going to order this set but we had to have our Disney rewards card re-issued through the mail, and it sold out before the card arrived. :(
 
Okay, I think I've PM'd everyone who has shown interest so far. I believe there are about 7 people now who I'm talking to about potentially making a trade. As I've told everyone in PM I'd like to make some sort of decision this week so hopefully we can do that.

Holy 993 traders Batman! Luckily, I have some time right now, so will do. On the downside you are the 10th or 11th person inquiring about the set so there's some competition. On the plus side I can't imagine you don't have a ton of stuff I want with almost 1,000 traders.

Just an update to everyone:

I'd really appreciate if anyone who has yet to make their first offer could do so by today at the latest. There are a few offers that have separated themselves and I'd like to be able to finalize something with one of them by tomorrow if at all possible so I can try to get whoever I end up trading with their set by the end of the week.
