No, but I would like to be able to influence Disneystore.com executives minds to release more LE pins. If they want to Spam, they really ought to market to the demographic they are spamming.

Do not click any links. They sent me the same spam twice, LOL; and I have already sent a thread to the admins as they are the ones to fix this

I got two as well. I reported each one so hopefully the admins will pick it up quickly and block them.

OOO. I had a thought. Everyone if you get the message give the spammer a bad iTrader rating. It's fun and I imagine if he/she/it gets enough it may automatically suspend/ban them.

Good plan . I went and left them a negative. Just hope it's a bot and not an actual person who will retaliate!

Got another creepier one about "getting to know each other closer." Hopefully admins will ban this user soon. I'm waiting to hear back about a trade and I keep thinking, "Yay, I have a PM," but it's just spam.

I've gotten 2 messages. no, I don't want to "get to know each other closer" ick. reported & deleted.

Oh, how sad. I though I was the only one (along with the other five or so DPF users on the string) this person has been reading about on the forums, likes, and wants to get to know closer! I was all set to send my checking account information, because I am just SURE it's some poor Nigerian prince whose family has been run out of the country leaving millions of dollars worth of diamonds behind, but a family friend will send the diamonds out to a trustworthy person (me!!) and I will get to keep 12% just for paying the cargo fees for the shipping and then sending the diamonds on to the exiled royal family... Maybe the princess will be my wife (pay no attention to my original wife - she won't mind) if I just send a few thousand dollars to get her passport released from the authorities in Amsterdam, where she was passing through on the way to come meet me, pick up the diamonds, and marry me!

You may call me Nigerian Prince by marriage Nick!

Just got the same. It's a pain to get stuff like this how do they pick who gets it?

They don't pick. I'm a mod on another forum; generally it's not a person but a bot account, sending things at random. Although this is the first time I've heard of them sending PMs. It's usually posts to threads.

Also, a general rule: never, never, NEVER click on a link sent to you in an email or PM by someone you don't know. Or by someone you do know if it's sent with no explanation whatsoever (some email viruses will send emails to everyone in your address book).

This includes banks that you bank with (no reputable business will EVER send you email saying "click here and then enter your password and credit card number" or whatever. If you ever get an email like that from someone you bank with or do business with, CALL THEM at their main, publicized number (not any number in the email) to ask about the email.

Stay safe, y'all!
