Here is my newest custom in a long list of customs Ive been doing since 2009. The Jedi Mickey! Being a big fan of Star Wars Ive had this ideal rolling around in my head for a couple of years. It was a lot of fun to make and took lots of planning and electronic work to function properly.
First off all the electronics are custom made out of existing parts. Everything had to be custom fabricated to fit into such a small area inside the light saber. I was fortunate enough to have a good amount of mini tack switches that would fit into the light saber switch. The speaker is built into the side of the figure to give the effect of the light saber sound on the right side, right next to the saber.
Also I was able to add the "Wooshing" sensor, so when you tap him on the back he will make the swinging light saber sound. (Check out the video). The clothes also were custom fabricated which make the whole custom complete and each one of a kind.
