Yes you have read that correctly... I am giving away my UK Disney Store Tangled Gondola Pin. What do you have to do to be in with a chance of getting this pin?? Donate a pin or Vinylmation towards the charity pin and Vinylmation trading day. The event takes place on October 13th so you still have a couple of weeks to send your donations.

If you have already donated pins or vinylmations then your name will be entered into the raffle. ALL people who send a donation will be entered into the raffle so that means people off DPF, Pintalk, Facebook and in person.

The Tangled Gondola pin is a highly sought after pin. It would be a great addition to any collection or even better as a trader. This is my own pin that I had on my trades list. I have decided to offer it as an incentive to encourage people to donate a pin or Vinylmation.

The raffle will be drawn on the day of the event and will be filmed and posted online by Danny Stitch2814 who is the events co organiser with myself. You can either pm me or Danny for where to send your donations.

this is the pin we are giving away, and all you have to do is donate a single pin or vinylmation, prefer pins with no scrapper warning. Your name will be put into a box and on the day will be pulled out and filmed and posted online.

 
Nice! I have the address to send my pin donation to; just have to package it up and mail it. When does it have to arrive?
 
October 11th if its being sent to me as I leave for Manchester that day, if sending to elaine people have till the 13th as UK gets post on Saturdays XD
 
Scott was my pin trading buddy and he passed away aged 20 from complications due to his EB. EB sufferers or butterfly children as they are known don't have the 'glue' that holds the skin together so the slightest touch leaves them with blisters and raw patches on their skin. They live every day in constant pain and have to endure daily bandage changes. There are various types if EB and there is no cure until that cure is found the charities aim it to provide lasting memories for children and young adults who suffer from EB and their families.

I organised this event last year as I thought it would be a great way to honour Scott's memory doing something he loved so much... Pin trading! Every penny raised will go to the charity. The pin trading community last year were very generous with their pin donations. I hoping this year we can raise more money. If you can only donate one pin or Vinylmation then that is better than none! It could be a core pin, hidden Mickey, lanyard or pin set, LE, PODM. It doesn't even have to be on its original card. Vinylmations can be boxed or loose.

Everyone who donates will be in with a chance of winning the Tangled Gondola pin.

Every penny will go to the charity. We have got a free room and we will be charging an entrance fee. Most of the money raised last year was for the sale of raffle tickets. We had several 100 pins donated and lots of other Disney items that were raffled. I am a committee member for this charity and I give my time for free as do all the other committee members.

All pins and Vinylmations donated will become a raffle prize.

Last year we made £535.00 and I really hope we can raise more this year. The Tangled Gondola pin that will be given away in the raffle for those who donate pins is from my own traders.

The charity will receive 100% of the money raised!
 
I have my Vinylmation and DSF LE 300 pin on card, ready to be shipped . How fast you get donations, when there is something in it for someone else ! I donated right away when there was nothing in it for me . Just Saying ...

Lol Tinker. Sad but true as my original post had over 500 views and only 6 offers of pin donation. I know I could get some pretty good trades for my Tangled Gondola pin but if I can get more pin & vinyl donations for the charity raffle then I'm happy to part with it!

Holy moly--first i am in tears, i never heard of EB, it sounds very rough for the person and their loved ones. I cant imagine living in that kind of pain and it made me feel very blessed, thanks for the smack in the head to remind selfish me of how lucky i am. Second thats so cool of you to think this up--really good idea! I bet pin collecting and trading was something Steven could do that was interesting, fun and safe for him. I wish i was over there to join in the celebration of his life and to raise awarness for EB. It is working because here is one person you have reached today alone! way to go and pins will be shipped the moment i get your addy! xo

Pm s sent Danny. I'm kicking myself because I was in WDW for 2 weeks in May this year and if I had thought ahead I could have planned a charity pin trading day over there... Maybe when I am there in 2014 I will do that one! Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Please keep the donations coming we WILL make this event a success and raise even more money this year!

To be in with a chance to win the Tangled Gondola pin you will have to send your pin and Vinylmation donations ASAP. I was already planning on donating, but was a little confused as to the kind of pins you're looking for, and hadn't asked for details yet. Are rack pins okay? Does it have to be on the original card?

Hello, it can be any pin or pins of your choice. They do not have to be on cards. It can be core (rack) pins, hidden mickeys, pin sets, lanyard sets, LE, PODM... Any pin. We are also looking for Vinylmations too. Any pin is better than no pin... Unless it is a scrapper! Lol
