I am temporarily withdrawing this sale until I have made a clear decison on what to do with regard my Tangled Collection. Thanks.

If the moderator wants to end this topic that is fine as I can open a new at later date.

Just wanted to point out a couple of things from that list of Rapunzel pins you posted:

  • ([pinpics]81349[/pinpics]) Is that included in the lot purchase? It was not listed, but it is in your cork board picture
  • On the list, you put up the picture for the DSF Tangled Marquee ([pinpics]80877[/pinpics]), yet the description attached is for the DSF Rapunzel and Flynn in Chair ([pinpics]80878[/pinpics]) - the lot comes with both pins?

Good luck on the sales!

Wish I could afford it - even if I only need a few of them! :) If you ever change your mind about selling them individually I would like to know. Good luck on your sale - its an awesome board and looks spectacular!

Well as a lot, I can pay $200 US Dollars. No PM's. No offers privately to end at what you actually want for the lot. There are about 3 pins that everyone would want and the rest are easy to mild trades on a good day or a good trade night? And 1/2 are below original retail on eBay.

Take it or leave it? I think no one will pay full retail on the secondary marked for the pins in todays world as you asked. Actually taking a good look, your missing 3 pins that are a major part of the value your asking?

That comes out to...$10 per rapunzel pin

Now these are about the averages that each Rapunzel pin sells for consistently on the bay, give or take a few dollars. The key word is consistently. Therefore, if they normally sold for these prices, then I don't see how certain people would not pay $700.00 for the whole shebang, considering my total came close to $700.00. You're also paying for the convenience in eliminating the degree of difficulty in acquiring these pins in one shot, methinks.

------------
$710.00

If my math is off, I'm going to feel quite embarrassed. By the way, I did not take the final value fee that eBay takes out, so take that into account

Now I do agree that selling it for one lump sum may not attract a whole lot of serious buyers, as evidenced by the people saying they only need this or that pin, so perhaps some DPF members may want to do a Co-Op (I remember someone trying to organize one?)

Good luck with the sales!

I was thinking of a co-op too, but since not all pins in the lot have an equal value that would need to be pre-determined by all parties involved I guess. If Aveen even wants to consider a co-op.

I find this extremely rude btw. I really hope you're kidding and that I just can't read your sarcasm through the internet. I mean, $10 for the hottest Disney character right now? Really?!?! In lumpsum, $700 might seem like a lot, but buy each individually from ebay and add on at least $50-80 on shipping fees alone. The seller has every right to list a price that they would like to get, and if you don't like that price, PMing them privately seems way more appropriate. Either that or don't even bother with the lot.

If it doesn't work out Aveen, ever consider listing the lot on the bay? I think you can easily get more than you're asking for there, with the fees covered and all!

What an incredibly rude response.

I could not believe that response I read. I am glad that someone pointed it out. Even as a PM, I would consider the response in heavy red very rude, let alone in a public thread.

I remember seeing a similar price comment in the past in someone else's thread and Brick had advised that similar responses should be kept only in PMs and not in the thread itself. Why should Aveen take this ? It must be hard as it is to part with such a lovely collection.

Just one thing to point out: I have never bought a lot of this size/price from abroad, but I am wondering what the customs fees would be if any? If there are heavy fees, then it actually makes sense to break the set in case she can not find UK buyers.

Oh, and if anybody is selling this

$ 40.00 Pin 80978: DisneyStore.com - Compact Series Tangled Rapunzel Pin LE250

I would take it in a heart beat.

** Edit ** Just found out there are no customs fees for US. Pardon my ignorance.

The person in question doesn't seem able to grasp (or perhaps he/she does?) that the tone of the message was rude and aggressive, and that I took issue with that rather than the low offer.

I didn't think that you guys get customs fees over there?

I really am not sure about this because I rarely buy stuff from abroad. I am guessing that there might be a fee above a certain limit.

Why not ?? Nowadays we get nickeled & dimed for every little thing ;)
